WOW! Incredible food, experience and nice view. We brought in fresh caught grouper (pictured) and had it prepared Lazy Day style, I believe. Chef cooked it beautifully! Also came with a side and choice of soup or salad.
Shared potato skins with the table which were massive and also delicious (pictured). Also ordered was whole fried yellow tail and Key West Chicken. Very generous portion sizes. Everyone left happy and full.

There were so many other amazing things on the menu we wanted to try. Definitely will be back. Alex our server was also amazing!

Great food and atmosphere! It was a perfect weather day to sit outside and enjoy the breeze off the beautiful blue waters. We had the conch fritters, Hog Fish caper encrusted sandwich, lobster coconut encrusted sandwich and a bushwhacker to drink. All of our food was delicious. I believe they were all on the specials for today. Definitely recommend making a stop here.

The chef is absolutely amazing. The menu and service are top shelf. Live music is a no-go. However, the view is great. Mustache, man, is great. He has an inclusive attitude that brings out the best in people. The food is going to knock your socks off.

Key west chicken pasta was phenomenal.
My intention was seafood but the waiter highly recommended the dish and it did not disappoint

We stayed on Marathon Key 4/3-4/11/24 and visited many local establishments mostly for convenience and certainly for the ambiance.
Lazy Days was a breakfast choice Tue the 9th and we were very happy we chose it.
Fantastic view to the water, comfortable seating to enjoy the experience, and a nice, clean and very well kept facility.
We were accommodated by a very nice young lady, Grace, who added to our experience with her knowledge of the area and her friendly nature.
The breakfast food was excellent and we stayed a bit longer as it wasn’t very busy at the time. We learned the restaurant was part of a bigger resort like property that included a marina and campgrounds nearby.
High recommendation for Lazy Days…
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Best food of our trip! Black and blue grouper sandwich and tuna nachos! Delicious! Also, a great view of the water sitting at the bar and friendly staff.

Food was okay, but the service from Ariel was great, they even sang happy birthday to my wife! If you’re in the area this is a nice option. No need to get all dressed up.

Very nice place. Servers seem to work well together and the food came out quick and hot. Very good key lime pie was great. Also a great spot to watch the sunset.

Multiple years reviews
2024 review: This time, Lazy Days South didn't deliver from previous experience and our expectations. To start, no more of that hot fresh bread, but that is not really a problem only an ascertainment.
We shared a lazy conch starter and we found that it was a nice variant form traditional conch fritter. My 3 year old daughter had some fish fingers. They were great, fresh, jucy and overall delicious. Side fries weren't good they felt more like reheated to the point that they get close to chips fries...
My 5 year son had a burger with the same bad fries. It comes with only bun and patty, no condiment except ketchup, to our point of view that is less condiments than we get in a fast food burger franchise!
I had a Magdalena lobster. Half of it was, unfortunately, way over cook. Overall plate was fair, not great nor bad
2021 review:It was probably one of the best dinners I had in the keys for a while. At first we got some fresh and hot bread, it was good. Offer a great selection of wine, cocktails, and domestic and local beers. My wife and I chose from the chef recommendations. It was a great idea. Her tuna was cooked to perfection. My dish was "Lobster Casa." it was lobster tail sauté with other seafood in a cheesy sauce, I asked to have it serve with pasta, and they gladly made it. The result was amazing. Overall great experience, we will return to try something else as they offer many plates of fish and seafood without deep-frying.
Also they will prepare your catch if you bring it.

Definitely stop by Lazy Days. You won't be disappointed. Our server, Ella, made us feel like we were locals. The food was delicious and they had seating inside and outside. Their lobster bisque in a brwad bowl was out-of-this-world and so was the seafood lasagna and shrimp linguine.

Great for lunch and dinner … waterside dining which we preferred. There is also indoor dining. We had Seafood bisque, Crab Dip, Billings Salad, Coconut Shrimp and Grilled-Jerked Mahi Mahi! It was all delicious! I had the Jerk Mahi Mahi - grilled to perfection with just the right amount of heat! The crab dip had a golden brown crust on the top… it was great but I didn’t like the texture of the artichoke in there. Topped it off with Pina Coladas. Will try more next time we pass through the keys. Service was excellent and our views were spectacular!

It was the only place we visited twice on vacation. The fish was delicious prepared in Islamorada and Lazy Days styles. My absolute favorite was the Jalepeno encrusted, tho. Sit outside and watch the gorgeous sunset.

I don’t understand some of the reviews. I’m not a local; I’m from the Midwest. I found this restaurant to be affordable and delightful!

I’m vegan and they had options for me. My husband enjoyed the yellow fish and shrimp. Much more affordable compared to our resort restaurant.

I enjoyed the service and a nice evening with great food!

Beautiful spot to watch the sunset! We were fortunate to get a table on the porch! Food was truly outstanding, service was top notch. Fish was VERY fresh & can even brig your own catch for them to prepare. Deliciousness!

Went there for breakfast and was simply astounded by the service we received from Patrick our waiter that went well above any standard service especially for breakfast (ask for him when you go). He was informative and honest about the menu items and perfectly directive on suggestions. This was the first time anyone from my grouo had been here and i must say everyones food was all top notch. The ingredients all tasted fresh and the plates were arranged cleanly. I would highly recommend based on service alone but the food was amazing! Cant wait to see what the dinner menu had to offer.

I hosted my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here for 75 people and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The food was delicious, their service was quick and efficient and the entire staff was so helpful. I had my own decorations for the tables to set up and cake to store beforehand. The manager and owner were so accommodating and made sure our area was private. To serve 75 people in a timely manner and have so many guests compliment the food, this is hands down the best restaurant in Marathon! Thank you Bernardo and Eduardo!

This was a wonderful surprise! We had planned on going to a different place but it was too loud and very busy. This place has a great low key vibe. You can tell the locals love it! The service was great as well! The tuna nachos are excellent! The key west salad was very refreshing. Thank you for making my husband's birthday very special!

Great food, with a nice waitress and air-conditioning .
We're going back to try their Mexican breakfast food,

Update : their chiliquiles were dry with an odd cheese melted solid in it and hubby's huevos rancheros were not served the authentic way.

We've really enjoyed the happy hours here with $4 appetizers and special wine and beer prices.
But! The Key Lime Pie is the best we've had anywhere! And we've had it lots of places!
The service is always very good, friendly folks.
And the Sunsets! Beautiful!
We definitely need to come try their regular menu sometime- lots of great sounding dishes!
