Compared to the ID location this place feels roomier, although it’s not less selection. And love that it’s not freezing cold unlike typical Korean grocery stores.
Like all the locations, they have a variety of Asian items, not just Japanese.

Love this Asian supermarket. Mostly Japanese items but you can find other types of food as well. Good selection for many items. Grocery selection is okay.

I came in for some sushi and ended up with a tuna and salmon furikake poke bowl. (Pic included). As I walked in I noticed that the store is super clean. Fruits and vegetables were shown in perfect display. Meats were beautiful…. I spotted some Wagyu New York Strip. I was tempted to buy it. But too pricey for me. The fish department was off the hook. You can even buy housewares. I was overall impressed with the store. I did ask an employee where the bottled water was. He had to find someone else to help as he didn’t speak English. But, it was no problem. He was super nice. The employees that I had direct contact with were great. The self checkout was easy. The only downside to my experience was that they don’t accept American Express. Kind of funny since it’s an Asian Market. lol. Anyhow…. Loved this place!

Huge dragon on the ceiling- does any more need to be said?!. Always mad at this place because I go in with some specific foods in mind, and then spending so much more time. Absolutely sucked into their incredible displays and selections of foods that take me back to so many incredible memories. This place is a definite culinary must and the selection of food is not just amazing, but if such a quality that it inspires new dishes. The produce is amazing, staff here is so incredibly helpful, and I love going here each and every time. Put this one on your little local buckle bucket list and make sure to say hi to the dragon

Uwajimaya is by far the best Asian market in the Seattle metro area. They have 3 stores in the area: Seattle, Renton & Bellevue. The stores are all very clean and organized, and the staff are very helpful. The Bellevue location is our favorite and well worth a trip to stock up on Asian cooking supplies.
Usually, when we go to an Asian grocery store, we leave without one or two items we went there to look for. Not here! This place is exceptionally well stocked. Soy sauce is a great example; Uwajimaya has every kind imaginable from many different countries. Dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, tamari, kecap manis (a sweet, syrupy Indonesian soy sauce), etc. Aside from food, they also carry high quality products for the kitchen and home, from Zojirushi rice cookers to great incenses.
We will keep coming back here even though it’s a bit of a drive. This place really does check all the boxes and once you visit, you won’t want to go anywhere else.

Clean Asian grocery store with variety of Asian snacks, ready food, fruits, and vegetables. The store also carries beauty products from Japan, appliances (rice cookers, steamers, etc.), dinnerware sets, knick-knacks. Free parking lot dedicated for the store. The store is highly organized, clean, and bright! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what’s available in the store. Highly recommended!

I've been to all Uwaji in washington. This one is smaller than Seattle but larger than Renton. There's a wide selection of fresh seafood, meat, baked goods, ready to eat meals, snacks, kitchen utensils, and so on. They have sauces that other Asian market does not have. Their salmon cuts are quality. You can expect a wide variety of Japanese products. It can be packed in here, parking is shared among surrounding businesses. We enjoyed shopping here, the aisles are very organized and easy to navigate.

This store is much more significant and more extensive than the one in Seattle. People should feel confident and secure with the food quality here; hence the price is relatively high. I love their deli section, especially the fried rice with BBQ. The store is clean, well-organized, and spacious, with fresh and clean produce. The staff is super friendly and welcoming to all customers. I would love to be back in the future.

Good place to shop for japanese food. I wish they had more table to sit outside.

Love. I stop here every time I am back home to stock up on all of the essentials I can’t get anywhere else. Plus, they usually have some great quality, fairly priced, sake and soju imports I can’t easily find elsewhere.

Did someone say heaven? Because that's what I thought I experienced the first time I walked into this establishment.
Granted, they probably have other things, but let's face it, most of us walk into this establishment for snacks, which there are more than three long aisles dedicated to all kinds of Japanese, savory and sweet treats.
Stop by here. If you happen to be in the area. You won't regret it!

Many vegan options to try here. Best place to get vegan Thai curry pastes and different types of fresh mushrooms.
🔸Note🔸
If you are vegetarian, see the ingredients for every product you buy. Because they may contain non-vegetarian ingredients too like Shrimp paste, Fish sauces, etc.,

Love Bellevue Uwajimaya and in general the chain! My wife and I visit frequently for coconut creme and the many supplies needed for pho 🍲 and ramen 🍜. Very fresh vegetables and fruit with quite an interesting variety. Never disappointed. 😊

My sister lives in Japan and has sent me gifts, and some of those same items I found here at Uwajimaya for a good price, can't find them anywhere else in our area. Now I'm gifting those same things to others. We don't actually even live that close but it's worth the drive for sure. Also love that there's fresh food there, only issue is having to ask an employee to use the restroom, but that's extremely common these days everywhere it seems.

Absolutely love this place! Would recommend visiting if you are in town for vacation!

Stop here whenever we're in the city to grab ingredients/produce that you can't get at regular grocery stores. The new remodel is nice and the store is more organized. Doesn't have as many options for dining or the atmosphere like the one in downtown Seattle, but it's easier to get to and park here.

Uwajimaya remodel is really nice. I wish the parking lot was bigger.

Definitely come back here to get my Asian food fix and spices. It is a lot cleaner than other Asian market. Well organized and well thought out layout.
