Been waiting a while to visit this restaurant. Chef Hai is a gem and we loved having him chatting with us through the meal. The food was out of this world. We loved the seasonal dishes that we received. I am eager to go back.

This was some of the best food we have ever had, comparable with world-class restaurants in Paris. The lamb was to die for. The bass was mind-bending. Let Chef Hai take the wheel and drive - doing things his way is unconventional, but worth it. Lamb ain't cheap -- our meal was $125 + tip. Worth it!

Fantastic has always I had the lamb and noodles for lunch. For the people that has never been, the location doesn't have a menu so the cook ask you want you want after he tells the meat of the day. Everything there is gluten friendly that is why I eat there a lot. 9.18.23 fantastic 😍11.20.23 still fantastic all around.

Thyme & Seasons is a fantastic. The owner is very nonchalant and friendly and provides a very unique dining experience. He asks you straight up your food preferences and makes you something based on what he has fresh at the moment. There is hardly a menu and no prices for anything. If you ask for prices he'll say something along the lines of "price is all relative sweetheart". So it's best to be fairly cognizant of what your ordering if your concerned about price. The food was amazing and the portions were huge which was awesome. My wife and I both got huge Ribeyes with a salad, drink, and pasta and it was about $100 after the tip. While it's a bit more expensive, the quality and experience make up for it. We plan on going back soon!

Such a cool, unique dining experience I love that it’s in a little local shop and you can tell that the menu is super heartfelt with tons of passion and effort put into it. It was delicious.

So, I read all these posts and my wife that we're going out for dinner tonight. First time oh, and it was so so so delicious! She had the Chilean sea bass oh, and I had told the chef I want meat and you get to choose.

We forgot to tell him that my wife doesn't eat mayo, cream cheese or sour cream. And I'm allergic to peanuts and I also don't eat, cream cheese or sour cream. He said there is no good used for mayonnaise in this world anyway. But was shocked that we both donate cream cheese or sour cream. So he had a challenge.

And he made the most delicious food I've eaten so far. I had prime rib which was rare, I don't eat rare. But this I did eat and it was so delicious tender, juicy... mmm!!! My wife had the Chilean sea bass and I took a bite (even though I don't eat seafood) it was so good, I would have got that if I knew. My wife had corn risotto on the side oh, and I had mashed potatoes. They both were divine! We both had this pink and red side dish on our plate and we still don't know what it was but it was so good.

I would totally recommend this place! If you are looking for something very unique, this restaurant is the place to go. The concept is different, you choose your protein and then the chef will make you something. I've heard people say I want something Chinese or you choose like I did. And they got something they didn't expect.

Very amazing food! Seabass was amazing and so was the steak! I cannot wait to come here again! The owner was so kind and had some very beautiful artwork and other things to look at as we waited for food. Definitely telling people about this place!

We had a fabulous culinary journey tonight with flavors I haven't experienced before, but absolutely loved! I highly recommend the Chilean sea bass and the bbq chicken! Absolutely fabulous flavor and so healthy with lots of fresh organic vegies! I can't recommend enough!

Honestly a hidden gem in Bountiful. The owner was incredibly nice and very funny. It's non-traditional and there is no menu. He cooks based off of what he has that day which is something I haven't experienced before. I got the prime rib and it was delicious. Will be going again for sure!

A unique and wonderful experience. Don’t be dissuaded by the storefront appearance or the clutter on the inside.

As you enter, the owner/chef/host will greet and seat you. He then asks what you want to order through a serious of questions. The “menu” (think cafe rio with meat/entree options) is printed on the wall but you won’t need it. He will just ask for your protein preferences and then list off many side options. He then creates an extremely creative meal that’s absolutely packed with flavor.

Better even than the food was the hospitality. Some reviewers were taken aback by his east coast personality, but he truly is a kind man who cares about his customers. He went above and beyond in his conversation with us. He also has some cool books with currency from across the world, signed by former customers.

It is on the pricier side ($55+tip for 2) but you can certainly tell him you want a cheaper option and he’ll figure something out.

Chef Hai is such a great character. We got the prime rib, which was easily some of the best tasting and most tender prime rib we've had in a long time. We also tried the Chilean Sea Bass, and it was so flavorful and had a great texture. Chef Hai's balsamic dressing was also great.

I've been hearing about Thyme and Seasons for years, and have wanted to go. I finally did for my birthday, and I was not disappointed! Chef Hai lived up to his reputation! I had the Chilean sea bass, and it was easily one of the best pieces of fish I've ever eaten (which is saying something when I've eaten amazing seafood all over the US as well as 4 other countries).

The atmosphere was odd (my mom said it was like eating gourmet food in a convenience store lol). But if you're willing to look past the hodgepodge of the restaurant, you'll be in for a special treat! Five stars all the way!

This is one of those restaurants that gets you excited just thinking about it. The Food is phenomenal. Everything is so fresh and the spices come together so well. Hai the owner is so good at what he does. If you consider yourself a ‘foodie’ this is a must try. Easily one of the best kept secrets in northern Utah.

WOW! A wonderful experience, so delicious, a foodies heaven. Prime rib was to die for, tried 7 different fish on our family style platter, each one was fresh and indubitably superb!
Risotto, fresh corn, vegetable medley side dishes were 2 👍. Chicken curry with purple rice mix, chicken & pasta, pork bun all were stupendous.

What an incredible place. Pick your meat and then be surprised. The fish we had was cooked to perfection, seasonal sides were delicious. Service was great. Very friendly. What a great experience.

This place is the best place to eat in Bountiful. High-quality dry-aged steaks. Vegetables grown from seeds, with farm-fresh flavor. Chef Hai doesn't have a traditional menu. You choose a protein, fish, beef, pork, lamb. or a variety of vegetarian options. He then prepares the food for you and charges very reasonable prices. It's not a traditional restaurant and that may turn some people off. But for those that value high standards of culinary perfection. This place is hard to beat. One last thing. The Chef hires individuals with some special needs. And I love supporting a business that supports those of us that need some extra help now and again. I would discount the 1-star reviews. This place is a treasure.

Absolutely amazing food with a very unique and refreshing attitude. Stop on by, sit down where you can find a spot and pour yourself water or soda.
Menu on the wall, every dish served our party (we ordered prime rib steak, prime rib pho, chicken pan thai, and bbq chicken for the kids to share. Generous portions and sides. Salad was fantastic. )
Hai spent some time sharing vanilla info, ended up buying Nielsen-Massey vanilla paste, vanilla powder and 2 flavored vanilla extract

Excellent evening, reasonable prices.

Hai seemed to know half the patrons and sat down and visited with them.

Left with squash for the kids and extra Keto friendly chocolate mini cake dessert that was served on the house.

Will be back as often as possible

I absolutely love this place. There isn't really a menu, the chef/owner let's you know what they have in stock and the different things they can do with it. I've never had the same thing twice. It's such a good vibe. I'm really glad this restaurant made it through COVID as it's definitely a special treat.

Fantastic dinner! We will be back, affordably priced organic food, ~$40 for two chicken dishes - obviously more expensive meats would lead to more expense. Chef Hai seemed to be inexhaustible and notices and remembers the small things. I've found a new love!
