Good food. Excellent music. If you want my suggestion, go when Lee Benoit or Sheryl Cormier are playing. If you want a classic, Cajun charm? Good start. Update 2 years later. Food is SO much better. Check the menu. Crazy good.

The atmosphere here is incredible, the food is excellent, and the staff are awesome. I would highly recommend to go when there is live music. If you like steak, I recommend trying it with Crawfish Etoufee on top. I, have had the pleasure of having it a couple of times and you will not be disappointed. Overall this a beautiful establishment and the food and service are even better. Highly Recommended!!!

Great food (we had grilled catfish, aged steak, and fried shrimp), awesome service, we missed the live band but crowds we're coming in as we were leaving!

I am convinced there is no more truly Louisianaian place than Pont Breaux's Cajun Restaurant. The food, with generous portions, is excellent. Do not leave without ordering a breqd pudding, and enjoy some Zydeco in the heart of Cajun country and the Crawfish Capitol of the World.

Shrimp and grits we're delicious. The band even let my 2 year old play with them. Made my heart swell. Great place for a family friendly good time

I LOVED the seafood and smoked bacon eggrolls😋. The seafood & fries were delicious the next day, too! The employees are all so sweet & the band was such a nice touch, especially since we went on Valentine's Day! They handed every woman a flower at the entrance & the restaurant was decorated so pretty! The best was watching people cut a rug while eating some good food! Will definitely be back!!!.....again! 😁

Stopped in on way home to Oklahoma, never had real Louisiana food, first time in Louisiana actually. First time to taste crawfish too.. lots of firsts for me that day. The food was absolutely fabulous our waitress, Kayla really helped me in deciding what to order. I have a very weak pallet also. The food came out almost as soon as we ordered it. I can't say enough about this place. We also spoke to I assume the owner or manager maybe... He was super nice and told us about the alligator he had caught the day before such an interesting man.. it was one of the best trips I've taken in awhile. If I ever get back I WILL stop in again.

Friendly staff, saw some old friends there, delicious food, great music and got to visit with the owner! New food items...loved the crab cake pearls, fried catfish was excellent and shrimp were big and fried to perfection. Enjoyed our visit!

Authentic Cajun food, atmosphere, and live music. Start with an alligator and frog leg appetizer. Service is great but no one is in a rush (city folk relax and enjoy). Kid friendly. Dance floor centers the large dining area. New owner is the chef. Check it out!!

We had family come into town from California. We were so excited to bring them to Pont Breaux's for amazing food and live Cajun music!!! We had the BEST time!!! The food was incredible and everyone in our group loved what they ordered. Our waiter, Deshawn, handled our large party of 16 like a champ! And the band was so good! We danced in between bites! 😊 We were also impressed that the manager personally came out to greet us.

I haven't been here since the name change from Mulate's, but evidently nothing else changed . This experience is worth getting off of I-10 a few miles to soak up some local flavor. Great authentic Cajun food and atmosphere. This is where the locals come to eat and enjoy Zydeco music and dancing. Anything on the menu is going to be so good. It's real here, so don't come fancy. Recommend!

Atmosphere was awesome very inviting. Good was great! Service was really good.

Good food, good music, good service, fair price. What's not to like. My wife had the shrimp en brochette and dirty grits. Shrimp and bacon cooked perfect. I had the crawfish 1/2 and 1/2. Etoufee I thought was better than the fried crawfish which were a little boring. Bread pudding is excellent.

I had blackened catfish with shrimp eautufa that was worth the wait. Waitress was great and took really good care of our table of six. Atmosphere was very Cajun with a cajun band playing music. If we get back to their neck of the swamps we will dine there again.

Live cajun music. Dancing. Food has improved since my last visit. Waitress did a fantastic job taking care of us. We were 46 people total.

Super nice restaurant in the middle of a small town. There was a band playing local music, apparently for many many years ! We wanted to try local food and were not disaponted : the gator was a nice experience and the crawfish plates were delicious !
We had a nice time at this restaurant, try it if you can !

Was driving through Louisiana and found this place on google maps. Sooo glad we stopped here. We were unsure because the parking lot looked empty but I think Sunday was just a slow day for them. The food was AMAZING. I had the fried shrimp with stuffed potato and a salad. Great authentic cajun food.

Mr. Randy is awesome, and Kayla she is so attentive. Like a waitress should be ,right on spot. asking if you need anything or she can get you something. that's what I like PONT BREAUX'S their food is BUFFET excellent I've been there several times with my friend Gail I will be back awesome food.
