What a cool little bar in one of my favorite towns. Very cozy atmosphere, and seems like everyone knows everyone, at least at the bar. Friendly bartenders and they have interesting rotating drunk specials.

It can get Quiet busy for dinner times if you need to be seated.

Burger we tried was good. I will definitely return next time I am in town.

Very nice place. Food and service was great. Very pub style, busy, but worth the wait. You can reserve a table online, just check the website. It's an old house and have an unique charm. The walls on the bottom floor are covered with dollar bills, containing written messages and drawings. At the time I went there, they had live music and it was great! It can be a bit tight due to not much space, but it is worth the visit. The menu offers many options for all tastes.

Wonderful food served by wonderful staff. They were happy to answer our questions about both the food and drink menus, and we never felt rushed even though they filled up quickly at dinner on a Friday night. Appetizers, entrees, dessert and several drinks for under $100. Excellent value for the experience.

Fantastic every time we go and and always make a point to go when in town. Food is excellent and such a fun experience! We’ve gone for lunch and dinner. With and without kids and never had a problem

I enjoyed my visit to Shenanigans. Katie was my waitress and she was amazing. I was seated in the covered patio area and I’m so thankful that heaters were on, so I felt comfortable. I ordered the shepherds pie and a to-go order of wings. I’m also appreciative that mocktails were on the menu. They were both delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a very fun place with a selection of beer that rivals many other "Irish" pubs.

Bangers and Mash and the Fish & Chips were very delicious and the tartar sauce was a very pleasant surprise, surpassing all tartar sauces.

The chocolate cake is very heavy but moist and very favorable and highly chocolaty.

A must eat in Dahlonega

Great environment. We went on St Patrick's day. Always a blast. Even though the lines where long the experience was great. Had a few drinks, listened to the live band outside, then had some great food. I highly recommend Shenanigans.

1st time here just in the area to do some fly fishing Monday and figured ide try it out. The food was excellent and my waitress Chelsey (I Believe) was excellent. I had the Irish Stew and Shepards pie both very good.

My wife and I ate at the bar, service was great, even though they were busy. My wife had an Irish Coffee, she said it was really good. I was introduced to a new ale that was really good. My wife had the Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken and said it was spot on with flavors.

Absolutely the best restaurant on the square! Always A+ service, A++ food, A+++ drinks! Whether you feel like going for classic Irish comfort foods like the stew or you're feeling daring with a fish-filleted Reuben, you will NOT be disappointed!

A very busy and happening place and it’s not even tourism season. It was packed but even then wait times was only maybe 5 minutes. The food was very good. I was impressed with the seared Tuna but I am a Louisiana man, so it’s no comparison to back home. With that being said, I would definitely order it again. The Asian vegetables over a bed of saffron rice was perfect.
The whole pub/restaurant gave off happening vibes. It’s located right next to the town square and was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Great place for the family (it’s kid friendly) or to hang out with friends, or even for a casual date.

First time ever to this restaurant, today.. Evan, was our server. He's a really cool guy with a great personality. Food was excellent and ambience was perfect! If you haven't been here, you have to go. The interior has a very unique look to it. You'll have to go, to see for yourself.. I'll definitely be back here..

We came here after horrible experience elsewhere...once for lunch and another time for dinner. Both times great service and hot food! Dinner outdoors w fire table was awesome ! Steaks were great so was our server and prices were very reasonable! Definitely would recommend highly to anyone looking for a great meal !

Great restaurant and bar on the historic square in downtown Dahlonega. Excellent Irish options- great food- good drinks- friendly staff. It's been a staple for years and it's earned the reputation here. Give them a try- you won't regret it. The patio is great; they even have firepit tables over the winter.

We came for St Paddy’s day. We arrived at 11:05 (they open at 11) and the place was already almost full. We were sat and severed immediately. I was shocked to see it that busy so early but they did a great job!! I loved that all of the staff were dressed up and festive. My husband loved his green beer. I had the lemonade cocktail & pain killer. Both of my cocktails were excellent!! The fish & chips were delicious!! The Pb chocolate pie was a little pricey for its size but still delicious! Staff was very attentive and overall great experience! Can’t wait to come back on a day it’s not raining to enjoy the patio!

Husband and I always put shenanigans on our itineraries when in the Dahlonega area. This trip we actually went there twice! The bar area has a relaxing ambiance and an all-around fun/hip place to unwind with a drink. The food is FANTASTIC! Glad to have a place in the area that is vegetarian friendly. We will be back!

Delicious!! The gravy is the best Guinness gravy that I've ever had. I bought a pint of it to bring home. 😂 Will definitely eat here again!

Fun place to go, good food staff was nice

Excellent spot in Dalhonega! Our food was amazing and was brought very quickly. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We will be back for sure!

This place is a must go to. The fish is perfectly battered, and the burger was good. We also got the loaded potato appetizer and it was very good. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great. It's a little small and crowded, and I think there's only one bathroom. But it's a fun time.
