Gold City Growlers is the best local place for good craft beer. With 20 different brews on tap, you can enjoy a tasty pint on-site or fill a growler to take home with you. The selection of beers is deep and filled with a healthy variety of homegrown Georgia breweries. Inexpensive flights are available: 4 two-ounce samples for $6, and you can load up your growler with a favorite for a decent price.

Love this little spot! They sell FLIGHTS of beer - no pints! And have books! Beautiful spots to sit outside with your dog as you enjoy local brews! A great gem of a find.

Great choice of rotating brews (including sours!) Also has a selection of used books to look through or purchase as you taste your beverage of choice. A flight is only $7, and the customer service was great. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

First time in town. My first attempt to whet my whistle was at a nearby pub. Not very crowded but was never served. I then found Growlers...perfect!! I am not a fan of noisy pubs/bars so Growlers is a perfect place for relaxing, taking in a flight, browsing books and vinyl, playing a selection of games and hanging solo or with friends. I enjoyed every selection Chad made. In hearing him interact with other customers, he has great knowledge of each brew and gave great suggestions tailored to each person's palate. He clearly had a troupe of returning locals in addition to the holiday tourists. I will be there every day I am in town and grabbing a growler on the way out the door!

No Pints! But who cares. They serve flights 4 at 2oz each or getcha a growler. Great selection of craft beer! Tucked away perfectly from the hustle and bustle of the square. Nice seating, good selection of books, great chillaxed atmosphere

Cool, neat place! Love that you can only get flights or growlers here. Makes it more manageable for those who can't sip on one large pint of beer. The pineapple beer #20 was SO good! There was live music Friday night which was great to relax and listen for a bit. Bring cash for tips!

Very knowledgable staff and the selection of beer is really great. There is a perfect variety for everyones palate. I also love the whole vibe with lots of books and vinyl to purchase. They also had a cider.

Such a great time here!!! My friend and I both enjoyed a flight where I discovered that I didn't like beer. Dont worry I'm 43 years old and have never liked beer. But the atmosphere and the woman working that day were so amazing we will totally go back the next time we're in Dahlonega... its helpful because my friend likes beer so... I'll just tag along. Seriously though.... if you do actually like beer go to this place!!! You will not be disappointed.

One of my absolute favorite places in Dahlonega. It's super cozy and a lot of fun trying different beers and playing air hockey. Plus there are tons of books. Absolutely love this place!

Chad is awesome and very knowledgeable. Beer selection is always fresh. A great place to taste some amazing beer, hang out with friends, and grab a liter of a bubbly beverage to take home.

Gold City Growlers provided beer for our wedding, their selection was solid and they delivered what they promised. Would recommend for events or just for beer purchases!
