Hertz Car Rental - Savannah, Ga - Sav

The Hertz Car Rental at the Savannah Airport is very conveniently located right by baggage claim. They provided excellent customer service, we received a new red jeep that was loads of fun to drive and in excellent condition. The drop off was equally very easy and efficient. I accidently left my iPad in the car, they assured me if found they would keep in a safe place for me. It was found and they are shipping it back to me. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Wow, these negative reviews are crazy. I guess I got very lucky. Maybe I was treated better because I'm in the Hertz President's Circle, which has a separate line. I definitely could see the issue about the lack of vehicles. I reserved a cheap, compact car. They were out, so I was upgraded for free to a Jeep Wrangler. Not what I was expecting at all, but it was a fun vehicle. Minivans and trucks were the only other cars available. The workers were great, and even recommended some restaurants in Savannah when I asked them.

My experience was pretty smooth and painless. I waited at the counter about 10 mins because the employee was helping the person in front of me. The employee at the counter wasn’t friendly but she wasn’t rude either so I had no problem with it. The check out process was smooth and I received my keys and picked my car. The car was clean and modern. Return process was easy too.

I would use Hertz again if I came back to Savannah via the airport

I had made reservations for a vehicle through their sister agency Thrifty. However when I arrived I found out that they had a shortage of vehicles. I presented my problem to the nicest young lady behind the Hertz
desk and she went out of her way to be assured I was not only given a rental but an upgrade as well. I've been renting cars for 25 years now and it never seems to amaze me how Hertz always gets it right. Their service is impeccable. Thank you Sierra, you kindness and eagerness to help a frequent traveler will never be forgotten.

This place was worst with the customer service, especially the familiar faces they steal from you. Being frequent flyer runs late and early some times but my company works with Hertz has to go with Hertz. But boy the worst person this lady told me that she cannot understand me and took 40 mins and tried to sell me different coverages which I don’t want. I definitely remember her name “Lorraine” always there at the counter, yells at customer the worst customer service personnel ever!!! Couple of days ago my flight got delayed and I called to see if can move the timing of my reservation, very professional lady answered the phone she changed my mindset about Hertz , I think her name was “Katy” very professional and courteous. Stayed late for my reservation and checked me out fast not like other times. Thank you Hertz for making changes..

Our car broke down in Savannah and my family and I were desperate to get back home. We knew that we had very little chance of getting a rental since inventories have been so low during the pandemic. A little after midnight on a Sunday evening, we met Ms. Lorraine at the Hertz airport Savannah counter and she was so helpful and professional and found us an option to get home. We are so grateful for Ms. Lorraine’s above and beyond excellent service. Thank you Hertz for team members like Ms. Lorraine.

Just had a great experience at Hertz. My bag fell over in the rental, my brand new work IPad and my pilots headset fell out onto the floor. I didn't see them and left to get on my flight. Realizing, at my gate, that I was missing my stuff, I ran down to the counter and the lady there was super helpful. Stanley found my stuff and returned it to me within a few minutes. Unbelievable character and customer service. Thank you all for saving my day/week.

Great experience all around. Thanks to Vickie at Savannah Airport for her wonderful service and extra kindness. Hertz was easy to work with from making the reservation to turning the car in. I couldn’t find my reservation info before my pick up date and called the customer support number. Frances was so sweet and helpful as well.

The process was super easy and the workers at the desk were friendly and helpful! I'd never rented a car before and never been to the Savannah area, so I was a little nervous beforehand that it would be confusing. But within ten minutes of approaching the Hertz desk, I was in my rental car and on the road. I highly recommend them. They do a good job!

Arrived after midnight and worked with Diane. Although the line was long she greeted and worked with everyone with a smile. When she checked for my reservation the car had not been returned. She took note of the size or my family and baggage and she upgraded my vehicle to ensure we had an excellent experience in Savannah. Truly appreciated the service and upgrade.

One of the best rental car experiences I've ever had. Fast service. Counter service was super friendly, smiling. Drop off was a breeze. Car was super clean and roomy. Would definitely rent with Hertz at this location again.

The attendant was very friendly and service was fairly quick. Our reserved car was not ready but she offered an upgrade for a discounted rate. No problems locating car in lot. Minutes before we started our trip. Drop off took less than 5 minutes.

Recently picked up an SUV at the Savannah airport. Their service was fast and efficient but the best part was how friendly all of the Hertz employees were, on departure and return. Traveling isn’t always a pleasant experience so a friendly smile can go a long way.

Our flight was after regular operating hours. There was someone waiting for us at the counter and helped us right away. We got a upgrade to SUV. Return was also hassle free

Another rental car company surprised us at the last minute with a lesser vehicle than what we paid to rent (with weeks of advance notice). I went to the airport terminal and saw the vehicle we needed, so I went to the Hertz counter to ask about it. Omika took care of it! I got the vehicle we wanted, the night before I was scheduled to get the other one (extra time), and paid the same price!

No line at the time we picked up our car and the agent was very friendly. Our only "complaint" if there is one was the car itself. It was a Ford Focus, with only 9000 miles on it, which is great, but the car shifts funny. I don't own any Ford vehicles, but that car did not change gears well at all.

Hertz Sales Associate at the Savannah-Hilton Head Airport named Michelle is the most helpful and probably the smartest agent in the entire airport. After Alamo suggested we Uber to Hilton Head, Michelle was able to get us our rental car. I would not hesitate to recommend Hertz at this airport.

Excellent customer service. We did not have to wait very long at all and they upgraded us to a minivan free of charge.
