Absolutely extraordinary atmosphere! I forget his name, but the man at the front was lively and welcoming and incredibly helpful.

The shop is clean, tidy, and well-organized. A wide array of books for the space they have and great quality.

The cutest little book store on the corner of a busy intersection! I loved the atmosphere in here with the calming sky blue walls, large windows letting in plenty of sunshine, and a comprehensive but non-overwhelming selection of neatly-arranged books. The store is owned and operated by a father-son duo with a clear passion for books!

Mr. David is the best bookkeeper ever. You get to browse through pretty books while talking to him about life, it's a wonderful experience!

Great selection of local and English books, and had a great long conversation with the cashier. Also a good selection of cheap 2nd hand books (cheaper than Goodwill). Thanks!

Love this little book store! So many great books

Nice, cozy little bookstore owned by one of the nicest people I've met in a while. The place has a great collection of books and I found myself picking something up even though I haven't bought myself a book in years. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys reading.

from time to time I order books from North America, and most of the times they get lost on the way. the tracking numbers belong to carriers I've never heard of and show me cryptic details of the route the book takes. sometimes the tracking stops when the books enter my country, sometimes the tracking doesn't start at all.
it gives me a sense of peculiar joy to initiate such imponderable journeys. sometimes those journeys find their end at my door and create a little trail between a cozy little bookstore in georgia and my door in leipzig, germany. if it doesn't happen - it's ok - I enjoyed the way.

I've been to this bookstore twice, and I absolutely love it! David is super friendly and so much fun to talk to. If you want book recommendations, definitely go here! They have a really diverse selection!

Fantastic little book store; love their book date books!

Was able to find the first 2 books of one of my favorite childhood series! Peter and the Starcatchers! Prices are excellent for the books being in perfect condition! Not to mention they have a surprisingly great selection of books that are easily located by genre. Staff is also super friendly and helpful as well! 12/10 would forever visit this place again! If only i didnt live so far away.... 😭

I happened upon this bookstore and saw a book in the window display that interested me. I was excited to see that my old hometown had a used bookstore now. Inside I met a lovely man working there, Mr. David, the father of the bookstore owner. I told him I would write a review and he said I could write something like “I’ve never met someone in my whole entire life ever on earth that talks so much about nebulous nothings” or something like that but I didn’t think it was nothing, nor nebulous! He was wonderful to chat with and can make recommendations according to your interests. He is well-read and makes for a great conversation that will leave you wanting to return to this little shop to tell him how you liked the recommendation he made. He might not remember your name but don’t take it personally - he’s no good with names. They have a table especially for books written by local authors!

I couldn't possibly only call this a book store in my hometown. Bear Book Market is curated from the selection to placement. It is a veritable space. Test what I'm saying. Book gallery comes to mind. Jessie and Clay are so hospitable and they know their inventory. Both of them are so attentive. This wasn't the first time I bought from them. Clay did some excellent packages during the beginning of quarantine. I purchased a version of "Pudd'nhead Wilson" that could have easily sold for three times what I paid. Almost a source of shame for a bibliophile like me. Today I found some books about dragons in excellent condition. Dragon Lance!!! I got some heady stuff and a highly recommended author of Southern origin. I'm hooked.
