The food was excellent, but they got one order wrong the first time. The server didn't ask for beef/chicken preference and assumed incorrectly. They did eventually fix it, but it took a while and other dishes got cold. We still had a great lunch and will definitely eat there again.

I have been eating here for over two decades. Although the name has changed over the years the excellent management has remained the same. They always provide a warm family fun experience as well as the amazing food.

Slow service because of staffing, so no one to blame, but we were in town for a wedding so we didn't mind the extra time to talk and catch up. Our waitress was amazing as well!

Great wait staff here. Prices are fair for the amount of and quality of food. Man is this one of my top 2 places for warm comfort food take out. The only problem here is finding a parking spot sometimes.

The food is great. Sometimes they really blast the music, so I usually bring earbuds when I come here. Also, the skinny margarita is $18. It's just bottom-shelf tequila and lime juice. It should not be that expensive.

Excellent!! Our first time here. Food was great, service by Gloria was excellent! Our young kids had fun joining in the trivia night and were treated very kindly. Can't wait to return when we're back in Dahlonega.

Food was well prepared and delicious as we have experienced with past visits.

We had a rehearsal dinner there for over 40 people. The owners were very responsive before the event. They were easy to communicate with, and accommodating of all our needs and requests. We ordered off the menu. The food was very good, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Not a single complaint, and all plates were emptied. The service was excellent, thank you again girls! We received many compliments from our guests. They all enjoyed it, and the celebrating went on much longer than expected.

I love this place. It's an absolute staple for me in Dahlonega. Nice thin chips, tangy sauca, good service, cheap food, and a fun place all around.

Drinks, food, atmosphere, servers and price were all outstanding. I will not hesitate to go back.

Very good service and great food. Victor and the other servers were working very hard due that the place was pack at the time that we went. He got us a spot at the bar and took our order in a very short time and the food came out at the time expected. This is the first time we visit this restaurant and I really recommend it.

Best Tex/Mex ever! My wife and I bought a place nearby a couple a years ago and we are frequent diners at El Jim. Great food, fast, inexpensive and the staff is first class. Crystal, Jessica and Chloe cover you up with service and are always delightful. Much better than any other Mexican restaurant in the area.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Everyone here was super accommodating, super friendly and the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! We had a party of 11 including 3 kids and we were sat as quickly as possible, the food was impeccable and the waitress was super sweet with our 1 year old who was having a tantrum. A must try for when visiting the beautiful town of Dahlonega!
