Angelle's old fashioned hamburgers

My husband is in the military and had the weekend off for Memorial Day so we met up in Breaux Bridge. We love burgers so we tried Angelle’s. Do you enjoy whole-in-the-wall places and juicy burgers? This is your place!! They do sell Blue Bell ice cream as well, but we got filled up with the delicious lunch, so we have to return to get dessert later.
My husband got the fries and chili burger which added an amazing flavor and texture to the burger. The fries were amazing with or without Angelle’s seasoning, which she sells! We definitely had to take some home.
I got the cheeseburger with a fried egg on top and the onion rings. Oh, the onion rings!! My son and husband, who don’t like onion rings, LOVED them!!
My son, who is an overall picky eater got the chicken burger (plain) and he really enjoyed it.
My daughter got the nuggets which weren’t listened on the menu, but the waitress who was so kind to the kids suggested it for her. They were Tyson nuggets, but they fried them and that was easily the best Tyson nuggets I’ve ever tried.
They even had these adorable little old-fashioned candy vending machines for $0.25 a piece. The kids loved it- they had never seen one before.
Overall, this was an incredibly kid-friendly place. Small restaurant with huge, booming flavor! We would definitely come back just for this place! Highly recommend 😁

10/10 great place to go have some good food! Ask them about their signature Angelle’s Cajun Seasoning, just made some salmon with lil bit of Angelle’s and needless to say the results are crazy good 🔥

We were just passing through Breaux Bridge and looking for a burger joint. Boy did we stumble upon a gem with Angelle’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers! Everything about this place was just cool! They had 3 guys picking and signing old blues, French music, country, jazz and something I wasn’t sure how to categorize it. They were fun to watch and talk with. Best thing it was free entertainment. The main reason for stopping in was for burger’s and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered cheese burgers with side of onion rings. The patty was well seasoned and the flavors melted in your mouth with every bite. The onion rings were the thin ones like we love. Great hamburgers and great place to visit. Can’t wait to come back when we’re driving through Breaux Bridge again.

Best burger in Louisiana hands down! You will not regret eating here. Service was prompt and the food was amazing. The staff are so nice and freindly. The fries, onion rings, and double cheeseburgers were immaculate. Man it'll be hard to go back home after this quality of service and food.

I just love these locally owned greasy spoon food joints! It’s small but effective. Super good burgers and those onion rings are amazing! Very nice friendly people working there, even the customers are nice. Everyone talks to everyone like family. Some of the best places are these little hole in the wall places. Can’t wait to come back!

So I take my mom out to random places to eat. Its our adventure time, so to speak.
Today's adventure took us down the road to Breaux Bridge. While driving to Atlas Mills for some feed and seed, we saw Angelle's and decided to stop in. We were not disappointed.
The service was prompt, the food was fresh, and the burgers tasted amazing.
I enjoyed the atmosphere as well. It reminded me of the old lunch places my pops took me when I was a kid. The place isnt fancy, but its beautiful in its own down to earth way.

I had the keto version of a giant, fully dressed, bacon double cheese burger (w/ extra bacon)....
Mom crushed the gator burger with sweet potato fries...and she loved it.

Pretty good food. Burgers were tasty. Fries remind me of homemade fries from my youth. Definitely brought back memories. Onion rings were a little thin and greasy but were still good. Hotdog (bayou Dog)was good also. Nice area of town to do a little shopping and then stop in here for some lunch. Recommended.

This place was great. The owner introduced himself and gave a quick run down of the menu. Told us about slow cooked onion and jalapeño called a jimmy. I got the lil jimmy with fries and tots. It was really good burger. He even gave me a bottle of his seasoning to bring back to Texas. We also saw him later that night at a zydeco dance hall and he said hi to us again. Which shows that he pays attention to the people coming into his joint.

Was hungry for a good burger. While traveling down I-10, I searched while my husband drove. Pictures looked amazing so we stopped in. Wow!! One of the best burgers I have ever had! The patty was so tender, you didn't have to hardly chew. My goodness that was so good! Worth the stop!

I am always looking for the best burger. This is definitely in my top 5. The meat was seasoned to perfection. The onion rings was as perfect as they could possibly be. The crust was crunchy while the onion kept its flavor. The restaurant was as cozy as it could be. I felt like I was at home eating my food. I still can't get over how perfect those onion rings was.

I had read this was hands down the best burger and onion rings out there! I have NEVER tasted a more delicious burger and there are no words other than heavenly to describe those crunchy, fresh, hand battered onion rings. Service was fast, food was hot, and staff was beyond attentive!!! Don't walk, run to eat at this place!

Although I lived in Breaux Bridge before, I hadn't experienced Angelle's. Their burger is meaty, juicy, and a well put together delight. They didn't skimp on the tots and I believe next time I will have to try their homemade fries. I had a chance to meet the owner and he pushed this place over the edge of five stars. Fun, energetic, and a real heartfelt thanks was given. I truly appreciate owners like Grover who bring their A game to the table. I will return.

If you are ever in Breaux Bridge Louisiana and want a down home fresh cooked burger OMG this is the place to go! The owner is so friendly. He took a pic with us and told us of a music show happening later that night. I give it a 10 out of 5 stars❤
