Verona Italian Restaurante

Party of five for my youngest daughter’s birthday. She wanted to come here and well I forgot to take photos of the food: oops.
I had the Verona Special and found it very enjoyable. The wife had the Shrimp and Ravioli and the kid had Lasagna.
Everyone enjoyed their food and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter was on point with the right balance of attentiveness and not hovering.

This visit we had the Salmon Special and Stuffed Mushrooms. When your waiter recommends saving a little bread to dip in the mushroom sauce, DO IT. So delicious I could eat it with a spoon.

We visited Verona for the first time 10 years ago and were so impressed with the romantic interlude, we decided to go back for our 14th anniversary. Much changed! The restaurant has been updated in fresh, modern white and black decor--beautiful! Yet Verona still has the same warm Italian charm that we fell in love with the first time.

Eric attended us and offered smooth, top-notch service from wine to entrees to port afterward. He met our every need.

For appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms were just heavenly. For entree, I had one of the house specials: Crab Ravioli in Gargonzola Cream Sauce--WOW! Decadent! Hubby had Veal Scallopini Romano with artichokes in a white wine sauce. The veal was so tender, and the sauce just came together so nicely. And of course, port wine for dessert. Our tradition!

Verona is delicious, romantic & on-point. A must-visit in Alexandria!

Potentially the BEST Italian restaurant I have ever been to. I was recommended to this restaurant by a local & when I tell you it was some of the best food, best service, and all around best atmosphere I have ever been immersed in. If you’re looking for a great local spot, this is the one. I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried.

This is the real deal Italian cuisine. Excellent food choices available, top notch service, and beautiful atmosphere to have a meal with friends and family. The owner, Tony, took time to come to our table and have conversation and ensure our experience at his restaurant was the best! Our waiter was Jason and he was also the best. For Italian cuisine there isn’t any better!

If you enjoy Italian food, you MUST eat here. The food is fabulous! The owner enjoys walking around speaking to his guests in the evening. He truly loves what he does, and it shows.

Our server, Monica, was so kind and helpful! Our food was a game changing experience. Such a sweet little secret in Alexandra! Don't forget to leave room for dessert! Cannoli and Cannoli cake....

Just relocated from Detroit, Michigan for work. Found this hidden gem while searching for dinner.

Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful little Italian Restaurant. The owner Tony is a very warm and friendly. When the owner comes to visit your table and welcome you, it speaks volumes.

Our waitress Kelly was the Best!! She was prompt and helped us with our selections after two days of traveling!

The food was delicious! We had the Chicken Saltimbucca which was amazing and the grilled portobello mushrooms, with a reduction sauce!!! Plus a Verona Salad!!!
Let’s just say, I know my Italian food and this is it! Amazing!

I will be returning without a doubt!! Please stop by you won’t regret it!!

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Central Louisiana.
The staff and owner are truly the best and the food is even better. I only have one picture from our dinner because it was so good I completely forgot and dug in.
The house dressing is a must try along with some of the garlic bread with tomatoes. Whatever the special is is sure to be perfect!
The tiramisu is to die for!

The best authentic Italian food you’ll find around here! For some reason we didn’t have any high hope and even though we have lived in this area for over 2 years never visited this place until today and were completely blown away! The seating was a little contested but the food and service makes up for it. The service was also top notch. The server genuinely cared and followed all instructions to the T. Would highly recommend the lamb chops, the chicken masala and the chicken saltimbocca 👌🏻

What an amazing authentic Italian restaurant! My wife and I came here for a lunch date, and we were both blown away with how good it was. The whole staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyed our meal. We got the asparagus appetizer, and we've never experienced such an amazing mustard sauce. My wife got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and I got the Verona special. Extremely tasty, can't wait to go back!

I LOVE this place! I have done dine in and take out and the atmosphere is very comfortable and upscale. The staff is friendly and helpful with menu selections. The food is amazing, and served beautifully!

Excellent food. Do yourself a favor and get the Eggplant Rollatini with pink sauce. My favorite entree is the veal cappuccino but the Verona special is a really close second.

Beautiful new updated restaurant great Atmosphere and friendly service paired with a large selection of wine and authentic Italian dishes a great place for lunch are dinner with your special someone are for great friends either way Verona's offers a dinning experience different than anything else Alexandria has to offer . Today was our first time trying Verona and it was amazing! Our waitress Ms. Danna was really sweet and super helpful! She was by far the best waitress I’ve had! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

When you get served at the table good bread you know the rest of the menu will be incredible! And not to our surprise it was! Service and food was 👌🏼! I will be back!!!
