Trek Bicycle Rockville

My husband and I were delighted to be quickly greeted by Chris who spent a lot of time with us. We haven’t owned bikes in years and came to Trek to scope out options. We left knowing the bikes we plan to buy and are so much more knowledgeable now thanks to Chris’s willingness to answer our questions and share important insight on safety.

Trek/ Rockville is my 'Go-To' shop for anything bike related. I've purchased bikes from them, and use them whenever I need service. Miguel and Oliver in the service department are super helpful and friendly. They've provided me with plenty of much-appreciated tips and advice.

Went to pick up my son’s bike today and was stunned by their inventory. The staff was very friendly and well informed. The trek is the best nationwide for a reason, i saw some bike and electric bikes, i also saw bike costing over 5 grands! I think those kind are the ones like in the ET movie, you can fly to the moon with those lol. Anyway it was a great visit and i am happy with my son bike. Oh and if you are picking up after ordering it online make sure you call to check if its assembled before you come to the store .

Amazing staff and service. They were very patient and answered all of my and my dad's questions. They got my bike ready really fast and now it's ready for riding

Theo was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable as he helped my 15 year old select his next mountain bike for his second season on the Moco S'mores mountain bike team for High School

The rep seen in the pic was an absolute delight. She was very detailed, through and knew her stuff about the bikes. Tom was great on the initial purchase with helping us pick out accessories and things to look for with our first purchase..

Great bike selection. Knowledgeable staff. Chris was the specialist who helped me pick out my Domane SL6. My first Trek bike! Clocked in at least 400 miles since I bought it less than a month ago. The derailleur needed some adjusting so I returned the same afternoon and Alex -the store manager took care of everything. Couldn't be happier with the service despite the store being busy everyday since the pandemic started. I've since recommended two friends to order their Emonda road bikes from this store. See you around guys.

Service was very efficient and though they are busy they managed my timeline expectations so I knew what to expect. With all the back log it sounds like they need to hire more service techs

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this store. Chris has always been extremely helpful and helped me figure out what bikes and accessories are right for me. Brenda has also been a tremendous help with product selection and riding advice.. She has gone above and beyond with information about local bike rides and routes. Miguel was very helpful in explaining the cause of my problems with shifting. He was very respectful and patient with his insights. I have a bike store which is a lot closer, but I will always go the extra distance to support this store.

Great customer service, caring and timely service. Received text and email updates to keep me informed of when my bike entered service, and when the repair was completed. Definitely will use again!

Purchased a helmet for my kid here - Brenda was super helpful finding one that fit and getting it adjusted. All the staff were really friendly.

The Trek shop in Rockville is awesome. The staff are friendly and if you like bikes it feels like you are a kid in a candy store. There's something for every type of rider. I reserved a discontinued Dual Sport 2 Gen 4 online. I got a text saying the bike was being held at the Rockville location. I found time to go there and met with Patty. Unfortunately upon coming back from going to get the bike she let me know that the bike had not been built yet. She apologized for the confusion and walked with me to a built model (not right color) of the same bike and walked through the features and pros and cons of the bike. I was able to ask a ton of questions and overall I felt that this close up look at the same bike and discussion made the trip worth it. A few days later I got a voicemail saying that my bike was ready for pick up. When I called back I was transferred to the manager who informed me that the built bike actually had a bent fork. I am not sure where the mismatch occured between the voicemail and the manager - maybe a final inspection revealed this. Either way, good thing I didn't take that bike home. The store readily ordered another to be sent from their NJ store (or warehouse?) And I was told that this could be a week or a bit longer for the bike to arrive and be built. Fortunately, a few days a later I got the call that it was ready for pickup. The next day I made my way out there and was quickly and warmly greeted. The bike and I were united after just 2 minutes of being in the store. Payment was easy and quick. I was given a packet of materials and informed of a free tune up by the store included in my purchase. Theo worked with me to adjust the seat and gave me all the basics of the bike and bike safety. He set me up for a quick test ride which went perfectly. Overall my experience with Trek Rockville was very good and I would recommend to friends and family and will be back to that shop. Both Patty and Theo helped a ton. Shout out too to John in the West Springfield location who spoke with me originally at large about the bike when I was going to pick it up there before it became available in Rockville which was much closer to me. All in all a happy customer.

The staff was amazing. Specifically, Miguel “The Magician” mechanic. He was thorough from start to finish. He spent quality time diagnosing and looking over my bike and was extremely patient answering my questions and getting me set up. I brought in a new set of wheels and parts that needed to be changed out. Plus, as I browsed the store with the very knowledgeable staff, Miguel put the back wheel and cassette on so I could ride my bike with the new wheel for a couple days before my appointment. That was a huge bonus. He was also very communicative throughout the process when he found I needed a part and the timing. My bike now runs like a dream. He is a rock star!

I brought my daughter and granddaughter to your store today to purchase my granddaughter’s first bike. We were all treated with such kindness, especially my granddaughter. You provided her with stickers, and lollipops. The way in which your employees interacted with her was so heartwarming. The overall experience was great. Thank you for going the extra mile. I will be sending as many patrons as possible your way.

Oliver did a great job inspecting my old bike to make sure it was safe to ride. He found a problem with my brakes that could have resulted in serious injury if they failed. Thanks!

Theo, Patty, and Dakota were so helpful in getting me setup on my first commuter bike. I asked a million questions, test rode 4 different bikes, and was met with endless patience, enthusiasm, and mentorship. I now have a fully equipped bike, in my budget, and I'm confident that it will last me a long time. But more importantly, I have a home base for this hobby at this store, and I'm grateful for that!

The staff at the Rockville Trek store are friendly and knowledgeable. Impressive inventory of bikes and accessories. I’d definitely return.
