Yekta Supermarket

This was my first time checking out Yekta and I have to say it was a great grocery shopping experience at Yekta Supermarket in Rockville MD.
Pretty large parking space, everything is clean and organized, I really enjoyed and recommended to everyone, specially the fact that they have fresh dairy section, very nice selection of Persian & Middle Eastern stuff, it is really amazing!!
Persian cookies are also delicious, I will check their food/Kebab section and update my review.
Overall it was great 😊

Fantastic Persian market and the food to go is a frequent purchase for us. They have all the things my girlfriend craves from home and the owner is always very pleasant to interact with. Also have some great local bakeries that deliver breads and other sweets regularly.

Super clean, neat, well organized and authentic Halal supermarket. You can find various type of brands and products from middle east, Turkey, and Mediterranean area. Love this place. Things like; Turkish Tea, Turkish Cheeses variety of them, Snacks, Lavash Bread, Kabab Skew, etc.

I usually order chicken kubideh kebobs to pick up at the counter. I don't know any other kebob restaurants that do chicken kubideh. They're always perfect. While I wait, I browse the market. They have a large assortment of Middle Eastern cookies, baklava, and other specialty sweets. They also have a large assortment of Ahmad teas. They are so tempting that it's difficult to walk out with just one thing.

Lovely Persian grocery store with fantastic variety of foods, spices and beverages. They have delicious breads and many lower salt options.

Really great selection here, especially of Merve brand meats. We bought a couple of sucuks, olives, flatbreads, and other Turkish products.

Just a lovely store with excellent selection of foods and much more. I was surprised as I am pay to be ask I get a complementary chocolate and it was so good. Many thanks for the excellent service.

We are long time fans of Yekta. We miss the restaurant but are very happy we can pick up a delicious meal any time. The kabobs are succulent and never disappoint. We will keep going back. The specialty rice sides are wonderful, as are the yogurts.

This is really the place you want to buy great food and unusually fresh vegetables and herbs. The selection of Iranian and Turkish food cannot be matched. The s₺taff is very efficient and over the years we've come to think of this as our family's number one food market. Washington DC is truly spoiled by Yekta.

Great variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern groceries. I love the kabob take out too.

A great place to find Persian, Turkish, Armenian, and other specialties from the region! Helpful staff, plenty of options. And I hear their take-away food is fantastic, but haven't tried it yet.

Yekta Supermarket has expanded into the space formerly occupied by its restaurant. Its inventory has expanded greatly as well. This is a wonderful Middle Eastern market. I had not been in it for some time, so the renovation was a surprise to me. Today I did not have time to explore the store fully, as I needed only a couple of items. I look forward to returning there to check it out more carefully.

Clean, organized, and complete collections of persian stuff. People were nice and friendly. If you're looking for persian sweets (SHIRINI), you can also find all different types of it here! They don't have the bakery, but the products (SHIRINI) seemed fresh!

Very wide & versatile food selection from many of the Middle Eastern countries with great tradition of cuisine like, Turkey, Iran, syria and Lebanon.

Best place for dry fruits, real yogurts, herbal teas and normal teas, baklavas, Persian frozen foods, special spices, olive oil, olive-based soaps and real saffron. Also affordable vegetable and fruit!
If the staff were just a bit more smiling and welcoming...
I drive all the way from DC to shop there.
I do regret the beautiful restaurant they had before Covid. It had a certain flair. Wish they could bring it back, but i understand the market part is now more profitable as a small supermarket.

This is my favorite Iranian store to find the things I don't usually find in big chain supermarkets. I come here regularly. They also have great takeout Iranian food.
