European Delight

Great place just to walk and visit Eastern European goods, such as chocolates, biscuits, some prepared deli foods and alcohol. If you can't make it to Poland or Ukraine or any other neighboring nations, come on by. The service is helpful with out being pushy and this is a great treat for children to wander. Really popular! Hard to find, since it's in the back of an ancient strip mall, but well worth it.

We went here for the first time doing a research project on Romania. Many boxed chocolates, cookies, wheat products from Eastern europe and Russia. Meats are expensive. Home made soups are a great price at $1.69. Blackcurrant tea is so unique and you cant get anywhere else! Romanian cheeses are available but also expensive. Some staff do not speak English. Homemade chicken and beef rolls are good. Owner gave out free chocolate after purchase. Highly recommend!

Best Russian and European store in DMV hands down! Always clean and friendly atmosphere. The prices are always competitive and the owner takes care of his customers like a family. I live in Virginia but don't mind a trip on a weekly basis. Definitely recommend

I have been a frequent visitor to European Delight in Rockville for almost a decade, and I can confidently say that the store is top-notch. The owner is always super helpful and knowledgeable about the local community, businesses, and opportunities.

Every time I step into the store, I am impressed by the extensive selection of Ukrainian, Russian and European products available. From traditional foods to beverages and household items, the store has it all. The quality of each item is consistently high, and I have never been disappointed with my purchases.

If you are in the Rockville area and haven't visited European Delight I yet, I highly recommend that you do. The owner's expertise and knowledge of the community and products are unmatched, and the store's selection of authentic products is extensive.

Just checked out the store for the first time...and I was stunned at how big it was for a seemingly small local European market. They were tons of selections and a really cool items. All the prices were Fair.

I especially loved the assortment of chocolates they had and after trying them found out that apparently Russian chocolates are the best in the world and I don't say that lightly!

They had a wonderful cold-smoked Norwegian mackerel, and some baking supplies that were hard to find elsewhere.

above all the service was fantastic and the person working the shop really knew their ingredients and was very friendly.

Definitely will be coming back and making regular trips here

SO wonderful to be able to buy products from home (the Balkans) to ease my nostalgia & homesickness a bit. :) We also marveled at the huge variety of quality products from Russia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, etc.

The owner is also great! He surprised me with a kind and generous gesture, which I’ve found to be rare in big cities in the US. Also reminded me of home. ❤ This place is a real gem!!!

The best Russian - European store in Maryland! Store is very clean, has a very large selection of products. Food is being made in the store by the professional chief. All food is very fresh and tasty! Highly recommend to everyone to visit!

This is indeed a great place for Russian groceries. My friends told me that it was better than Russian Gourmet. I'd agree although I'd say that the diary section is not very satisfying. No Russian brands of cottage cheese or kefir.

Our choice of visit was based on customers reviews and its true what people say here. The owner is a nice guy and you get a special gift if your purchase is over $100. Greatly recommended and I will be a returning customer.

This is one of the best deli stores I’ve seen. Amazing products for great prices. And the owner is one of the nicest and friendliest person I’ve met, treats me like family and friend more than anything else. I kept coming back to the store for almost 15 years now, although it’s relatively far from my house. I recommend this store to everyone with all my heart!
