The Halfway Haus

This is a nice south side bar that's perfect for chilling out and meeting with friends. I didn't have any of their food and I don't drink alcohol but I've been told the munchies are worthy and the bartender will serve your drink with a smoke whether it's alcoholic or not.

Get out of the cold and stop on in and check it out, you'll enjoy it.

I picked up a dinner last night at Halfway Haus to bring home (eating it tonight)....: 2 BBQ Chicken legs, potato salad and a pasta (mac) salad. (Who ever made the pasta salad needs to marry me.....that stuff is amazing). 🙂 ) (Congrats on 13 years)

This place struck me as being a nice friendly neighborhood bar in the South Carondolet area. I found a medium sized rather diverse lunch time crowd of very friendly talkative men and women there. A great crew working there that seemed to actually enjoy being there. The food was good, the crowd was fun, and I enjoyed several good conversations over a couple of quite reasonably priced drinks. I had never been here before, had a great time, hated to leave. I will definitely be going back again soon. A great relaxing place to hang out. Try it.

Always a friendly place to have a beer. The people that hang out here are like family to each other and always welcome new people. I don't come here often, but when I do, I always have a great time.

Love this place , my always to go to bar when I'm home , bartenders are awesome and karaoke on Thursday nights and awesome patio , great people

The best bar in the world, hands down everyone is like a good friend that hadn't been seen for awhile. Great place to relax and enjoy your yourself with or make new friends.

The best dive bar around and with Theresa cooking don't miss out on the fantastic food!

I don't drink but I do enjoy on occasion stop again and saying hello just above the most down-home people on this planet and I would recommend anybody looking for anything to do South Saint Louis stop in the halfway house bar have a drink
