My favourite “ Bibimbap”This iconic dish consists of a bowl of steamed rice topped with an array of colourful vegetables, meat, or tofu, and a fried egg. The ingredients are beautifully arranged and garnished with gochujang, a spicy red pepper paste, which adds a kick of heat to the overall dish. Bibimbap is meant to be mixed before eating, bringing all the elements together into a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The combination of the warm rice, flavourful toppings, and the irresistible sauce creates a mouthwatering feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Here you get satisfied with your expectations . Staffs and ambience are very attractive and Korean themed . Korean food is a journey of taste and texture. Whether you are a fan of spicy food or are more inclined towards milder flavours, here something to offer for everyone.

Love this place. Been coming here since it was called Moa. Fried dumplings and seafood pancake are the best in Moco. Love getting the kalbi dolsot bibimbap and seafood tofu soup.

Fantastic food and quaint atmosphere. A smaller restaurant that serves higher than normal quality foods. Service is pretty good and the kitchen is great. We hardly waited before our food was being served. The galbi dolsot bibimbap is fantastic. The stone bowls are steaming hot and you can still hear the rice cooking. The kimchi jjigae is just as good. I'm hooked on their kimchi pancakes and can't wait to go back.

I had the worst craving for japchae and a lot of the Korean restaurants in my area are hot pot dishes only (definitely not a bad thing, but I just wanted something else). I found Mahdang on Door Dash, but decided to order through the restaurant's website because I was going to pick it up anyway and I didn't want to pay $20 bucks in service fees.

The website makes ordering easy and was able to schedule the time that I wanted later in the evening to go pick my food up. I ordered bulgogi japchae, galbitang soup, and La Galbi.

The food was so good!! I'm happy I ordered enough to enjoy leftovers all weekend long. The portions were a really good size, I loved the marinade on the short ribs, and the soup was delicious on a cold night.

I will be going back and recommending this place to anyone in the area. I got my food to go, but the restaurant itself was very brightly lit and looked like a great little place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I would consider trying their hot pots when I have the time to sit and enjoy it with friends.

This is a great Korean comfort food spot. Highly rated and food here is on point. I stopped by recently with some friends. I made reservations via Yelp and called the restaurant as well to confirm. We ordered everything from the bossam, bulgogi dolsot bibimbap, budae jiggae, mul naengmyeon and the tofu samgyupsal kimchi. The banchan was on point as well. I enjoyed everything that I hate here. The flavors, seasonings, and textures were amazing. The bibimbap crispy rice with fresh vegetables and meats were perfect. The jiggae had plenty of spam, ramen and the broth was really rich. Save some room for the cold noodles as well. Meats were thinly sliced. The addition of some vinegar and mustard added some amazing flavor to the popular comfort dish. Overall, Mahdang had some of the best Korean comfort dishes I've ever had. Portion sizes and prices are reasonable. Between the 6 of us the 5 entrees were perfect. We left stuffed and I'll definitely be back to try their pancake and other soups.

The food was excellent and so was the service. We loved absolutely everything about this restaurant, the food is amazingly made, the spice was exquisite, the banchan incredible. The sizes of the options were spot-on, we left feeling just the right amount of full. Will definitely return!

Wanted to find a place to eat while waiting for my car repair. It's a bit of an odd location to find this restaurant among all the auto body shops, but what matters most is the food.

And the food is great.

The atmosphere is very warm and homey. If you need any service, they have call buttons on all the tables so you don't have to yell out to servers.

With a lot of Korean restaurants in this area being more Chinese-style, it was great to taste proper Korean food. Reminded me of eating my mom's cooking.

I bought the Seafood Pancake and Bulgogi Japchae. Portions are big for the price and definitely meant for sharing. I've definitely stuffed myself eating all this solo.

I'll definitely come back again. I'm curious how the BBQ is...

Good Korean restaurant. When ordering the beef and potatoes hot pot, please don't forget to add the fast noodles. Service may be slow during busy hours.

One of the best Korean restaurants in the dmv. The pork belly was like butter the way it melted in my mouth(pause). The soju was good too. Their fried garlic chicken wings wanna make you shake sum.

It ticks all of the boxes for authentic Korean food. The Yukgaejang is just like my own but I didn't spend 4 hours making it! The kimchee pajeon is FIRE! The spicy bulgogi equally FIRE. HUGE portions, down to Earth atmosphere and excellent quality. A hidden Gem in Rockville!

Found this place on Google. Was in the mood for Korean food, but wanted to stay local. Found out that this restaurant was so close to my residence. The interior was bright and has a "homey & comfy" atmosphere. The people working there were very nice and they speak english. No language barrier at all. They played kpop music, but wasn't loud and over bearing like some places. Me and my friend ordered the steam dumplings (mandu) comes with a seasoned spiced soy sauce, but you can ask for plain soy sauce if you want. We also ordered the bulgogi bibimbop and udon. Entrees comes with tasteful side dishes as well. Me and my friend just hit jackpot, we enjoyed our dinner and plan on visiting more often while bringing more friends in the future. 👍👌

This was the best food ever, especially on a cold rainy day. This is a hidden gem restaurant located in an business park. The owner was super and explain about the dishes and the fresh ingredients she uses. We also had the bulgogi and a great pork belly lettuce wrap dish. They use doordash for their delivery

This is my favorite Korean restaurant!
I love ordering the veggie pancake with combo 04 (grilled mackerel with soybean stew) which has become my comfort food. The food comes quickly and tastes very fresh. The staff is friendly and always makes sure I have everything that I need.

Though the location is a little hidden, it is worth the journey!
