Though they had problems with ticketing, the customer service was great. My show was not in the main theater, but I did peek in. The atmosphere really does feel nostalgic and I’m sure this is a great place to see a “feel good” holiday film. My photos are of the newer side.

This is an amazing and beautiful cinema close to DC. Their selection of films is great if you’re interested in something beyond blockbusters. I’m a big fan of the Latin American Film Festival that takes place every year, and in general they show great foreign movies. The screening rooms are big and seats are comfortable (but not like the new recliners). Their wine selection is also great.

A beautiful old-fashioned cinema renovated just like new, comfortable seats and excellent screen view. They show nice movies. Was there for the Latin American Film Festival, to watch the Uruguayan movie The Employer and The Employee. Excellent experience. Totality recommended visiting! 👌

Quaint, clean theater in the heart of Silver Spring! We watched CatsVideoFest 2023 this afternoon and enjoyed the experience.

Restrooms were adequate, staff seemed friendly and the theater seats were nice. They weren't the big, comfy recliners in larger/newer theaters but they were comfortable and clean.

Parking garage was available right off Fenton Street about a block from the theater. Also very close to The Fillmore for musical events. Be prepared to have homeless people ask for money outside the garage (it's the city). Parking garage was $2.50 for two hours and you can use the kiosk or pay by phone.

View "Forgetting Christmas". This is a very informative movie that brings all the emotions of supporting loved ones who are experiencing dementia and alzihimer. The director was awesome
A huge thanks to all of you. A must-see - everyone will have this experience at some time in their lives.

Went to this theater for a film premiere and the theater is super nice. Reminded me of the old timey theaters where the ticket booth is up front and you walk in for the screen. Great location and great ambience.

Saw Selma here yesterday as my friend told me about the free showing for MLK day. The teather was basically full.

I got there about an hour late into the showing. The gentleman at the desk with the tickets was kind and greeted me with a smile when I got there.

The first theater where Selma was showing was huge and very well decorated with a good temperature.

After the movie, we went to Panera next door.

Really made my day, seeing this movie with my friend at a great venue. Thank you everyone 😊

Just an amazing theater. Nice wide seats...space in the aisles to easily pass by. Actually has real aesthetic quality in the building design and interior.

My favorite place to see a movie. Great selection of classic and current films. Big screens. Tiered seating. Cool cinematic displays in lobby. Close to good restaurants.

The AFI is one of my favorite movie spots. They always have a solid line up of indie movies, award winners, and film festivals all year round. They also have a cute concession stand where they sell wine, beer, and other foods. (Nice bathroom, iykyk)

Best movie theater around for seeing classic films and smaller releases. Great location/building and a friendly staff. It’s a gem.

Went for the European Union Showcase event and was pleasantly surprised. Theater was clean and large for its main theater. Parking was a short walk away and easy to reach with multiple crosswalks.

Such a great old time theater. It has the feel of an old theater but is still as clean and as well kept as ever. Staff is very helpful and nice. They have a little cafe. They do offer various beers and wines, as well as a full espresso stand.

I’ve enjoyed my time seeing two movies. One movie I chose to view twice from this theater. The employees are friendly and courteous. Overall wonderful experience

I attended several film festivals here. The location was great with ample space for red carpet and will call. I love that the larger theater has an old world charm to it. The smaller theater is intimate and great for talk backs after film screenings.

This is my favorite place to see movies. Generally speaking, the audience is great - not a ton of chatter, cell phones, etc. The staff is friendly and the movies are, of course, the reason to go. It's a fabulous place.

The theater is great. The concession stands popcorn and sandwiches need to be fresher. The service and cocktail selection are great.

I've been to the theater two or three times, generally for punk rock documentaries. The theater is clean, very convenient as the Metro is 2 to 3 blocks away (and several county parking lots very close by), and they have a nice concession area. The theater I was in had very comfortable, thick padded chairs that had a rocking feature.

I was never uncomfortable in the 2+ hours we were seated and there is plenty of legroom. I didn't have any issue seeing the screen and the sound was perfect. Great theater and wouldn't hesitate coming back.

This theatre is a temple for those who worship film. The various film series they run are excellently varied and curated. The main restored-Silver theatre itself is breathtaking and is one of the best environments I've been in.
