Laytonia Recreational Park

Nice park with baseball and soccer fields for games or just to throw/kick the ball around. The restrooms are clean and accessible. While your kid plays, you can go for a walk on the paved and concrete trail that goes around the main soccer and main baseball fields. The noise from the small aircraft from the nearby airfield blends into the background. There is a roofed section with picnic style tables in case you get too much sun. Parking can get crowded when games are happening, so plan accordingly.

Great park! Nice stretch of walking path that goes around the entire field. There's a playground, clean bathrooms, paved walking path, basketball court.

Just don't come while the mowers are there

The playground is very nice. It's also nice having a bathroom nearby. Parking can be difficult if there are multiple games going on at the soccer and baseball fields.

Well, I finally has got a chance to go to this park. But they still have porcelain fixtures and I was expecting stainless steel fixtures because I’m a little concerned about vandalism. Hopefully, vandals will not destroy porcelain toilets especially urinals despite the urinals having washout flushes and toilets having blowout siphon jet flushes.

One of the best recreational centers in Gaithersburg. There are different sporting grounds here. There is a baseball field, soccer field, and football field. The pavilion is very much accommodating with fresh air blowing from all directions. Above, the bathrooms are very clean.

Great park! Plenty of parking spaces! Fun playground for 5-12 years old.

Good size park for little children. Nice clean family bathroom and clean fields. I would suggest bring a basketball or something just in case the park is too busy. On Sunday all the fields get busy with the in-season sport so be prepared to walk from one end of the parking lot to the other (towards the softball field) to get the jungle gym.

Beautiful facility. We were there for an evening soccer game. I can't wait to explore during the day.

This is a beautiful park. Well maintained. Great path for taking walks or a jog. The playground has so many things to entertain the kids. The fields are beautiful and they have many types of sports games to go watch them play. The park staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Excellent park for play and walk.

Great soccer fields with bleachers. There is a playground on site. The playground equipment looked really new and my almost 6 year old loved it. There is open space for flying kites, dog walking, or other stuff. There are large, clean bathrooms and plenty of picnic tables.

Awesome place for kids to play. You can hike through the tree farm trail or just take a few laps around the the baseball field!

We are regularly at Laytonia for my son's baseball. Behind first base is a beautiful and fun kids playground. Restrooms, soccer fields, walkways are well maintained.

Excellent soccer fields with plenty of bleacher seats for parents. Working indoor bathrooms always a pleasant surprise.

Be sure to check out the great trails that go into the forest behind the baseball field. You can walk or mountain bike.

The main turf field is super high quality and guess what? The Park has OPEN and CLEAN restrooms!
