The best croissant breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! The sausage patty was so thick it was the size of a cheeseburger! Can definitely be shared! Absolutely delish! Also had really good CRISPY hash browns!

I enjoy the bakery very much. It's a Friday tradition for me to go in and get donuts before work. I normally see Julie and she's super nice. The donuts taste amazing and they are usually always warm. The prices are reasonable too

What I have to say is the food is great. But the service and the goodness of the owner is what I want to share. We had a family wedding on Sunday and Hermann is busy on the weekends and the owners of many businesses are closed on Monday.

We needed a group breakfast for those that remained in town Sunday night before both sides of the families went their separate ways. Laura agreed to open up the café for us, had food and coffee ready for us and that the prices are fair didn’t hurt. Everyone was happy with the food and location and we felt really special, thankful for our time. Very thankful.

Quaint little diner/bakery. Had the "pick your own ingredients" omelette. Excellent and fast. Took a few tasty pastries with me. Cannolis were great, cream puffs were very sweet.

We popped in here for some donuts late on Sunday just before closing. They were delicious!! Staff were friendly and helpful and even sent us away with MORE free donuts as it was so close to close! Wonderful 😍

Incredibly friendly folks run this establishment, couldn't have been nicer to my partner and I as we got some work done. I got an omelette loaded with everything (and I mean everything!) for a very reasonable price. Amazing omelette, honestly one of the best I've had in my life. Will definitely be back!

Always friendly staff, they open at 5:30 Wednesday through Sunday. Best breakfast sandwich, you get your money worth. They have coffees, smoothies and service with a smile. If your in the area I definitely recommend breakfast here. Order the bacon egg biscuit or croissant

What can I say but thank you very much to Laura. The owner I was married in Hermann Missouri on a Sunday, and with most businesses being closed Laura was nice enough to open her business and cater a wonderful breakfast for me and my family. The pastries were amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere was quite quaint and cozy. It was the perfect and do a beautiful weekend and spend in hermann. If ever in this area, I highly recommend stopping in to Sugar and spice, and Laura’s delight.

Visited from out of town. Had such a lovely chat with the staff member working the counter while she prepared my order. Everything in the case looked mouth-wateringly good, so I got a box with a couple pastries to go, and they were indulgent! Had an espresso-based drink, which was fine, but next time I'd go for the flavored drip coffees. Enjoyed a hearty serving of biscuits and gravy while sitting in the adjacent dining room with a small group of friends. Feels very down home, down to earth. Worth stopping by!

They let you pick the ingredients for your breakfast bowl. They let me add gravy to it. It was the best breakfast bowl I have ever had. Reasonable price too

this is the breakfast place. we drive from warrenton to herman just for a sandwich and donuts.

We are here from Illinois visiting and stopped in for a few donuts. They were so polite and kind and had the best donuts around! You can tell they’re freshly baked. Will make sure to stop in next time we’re in town :)

Highly recommend! Great hot breakfast, especially better than other breakfast places in Hermann (cough cough Ainsley’s place). If you want great service, got here!

I really enjoy the pastries, frappuccinos, and smoothies at this bakery.

The service is very friendly and the building has recently been rennovated inside which provides for a pleasant environment. Plenty of space for dine-in as well.

The only downside is I wish they had later hours as they close early afternoon.

WOW. I'd say its overlooked because it's not a hipster new age coffee shop, but talk about amazing breakfast delights, everything tasted great and the crafted coffees were delicious! Fairly priced and super friendly, my favorite breakfast spot in Hermann.

Daily fresh baked doughnuts and coffee was enough for me to visit this bakery. The pastries happened to be delicious! The prices were very good as well! Get a scone, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for making my son's wedding cake and cupcakes which were yummy and pretty! Thanks for having them ready on time for us to pick up also.

There’s no better place for breakfast in my opinion in Hermann! Feels like stepping back a few decades! I’ll make sure to stop by there every trip from now on!
