Unfortunately, we feel this company and agent did not have our best interest at heart during both of our real estate transactions.

Amber NEVER showed us a single offer on our home. In fact, she picked the offer for us to choose on our house. We did NOT have a single offer tangible in hand, or visible on email. She told us we had a cash offer, and never saw anything further. We never saw a single offer and that is a complete lack of transparency!

We wanted to see cheaper houses that were “as is” and amber refused, as they were “too much.” We feel she allowed us to put offers in on houses that were much more expensive, and also “as is.” This made no sense to us, other than she was worried about her own profit.

We drove. Every. Single. Time. Not once did amber offer to drive us. Not a big deal, but someone tell me why we were driving her to do her job?? We did half her job for her!! She never offered gas compensation. She never offered to drive us. There were times we had to work around her schedule, rather than our own. There were times she told us no on houses we would ask to go see.

The night prior to closing on our home, she informed us the buyers had a terrible final walk through. Amber had told us we can take whatever we wanted, except the 3 appliances. So we took our shelving, tv mounts, etc. Amber called me that night to let me know we MUST replace them or WE will be sued. She even offered to cover the cost of the tv wall mounts because it was her fault for not knowing they must stay ($50). She NEVER reimbursed us for those.

We found out that she opted to put us in a special sales contract, even though it wasn’t necessary (per the private information only agents can see on the listing). It stated something like “special sales is preferred but not required.” Her putting us in a special sales contact without informing us of what that means has put us in such a terrible financial position. We never would’ve gone through with purchasing the home had we known the THOUSANDS of dollars (and I mean we are FAR over $10,000) it would take to bring this house up to code. All has to be done within 30 days as well. Not only is this financially exhausting, but has taken an emotional toll on us as well.

She “pushed” to get the sellers to help with the roof, but only a little because she was worried “about making everyone happy.” When I told her WE are not happy. WE are who paid her and WE are who got screwed. Amber made way more off of our homes than we did. How is that even possible? Ethically, if I were her, I never would’ve felt comfortable with that.

She wanted free furniture and appliances out of the home we purchased. She made a VERY pretty penny off of us and wanted free stuff from us?! She even turned them down after I explained we are financially strapped and need to profit off of these items. She wanted a bed set, fridge, washer/dryer.

She told us we had one month after closing to get occupancy done. We had it done shortly after closing, and stl county informed us we were in our new home ILLEGALLY! He was not happy we were here. But amber told us we could be.

Amber was my friend and I do not like doing this. I wanted to help boost her career. We gave her a chance knowing she’s new, and also knowing who and how she is as a person. I refrained from posting a review for weeks.

We feel the branch manager of her location was extremely unprofessional when we talked. He was talking over us, blaming things on us and offering no resolutions. He quickly hung up after I told him she didn’t show us offers. We have played phone tag for weeks, and now he is just not replying to us.

I would not recommend anyone to use them. We feel Amber will do what she can to make the most money off of you. She will not reimburse you if she messes up, even if she says she will. She will not even try. We feel they truly only care about money and do not have your best interest at heart.

If you go with them, make sure you’re seeing offers because she did not show them when asked!
