I went in for an urgent care appointment with my husband and unfortunately saw Dr. Piya at Overlake Medical Clinic. He was very condescending and belittling when I had told him my suspicions and concerns regarding my health and said, quote "And how do you know that? Did you Google it yourself and find out? Who told you, Doctor Google?", at which point I was left speechless and my husband had to step in. Furthermore, the way he treated my husband and I was very different and despite myself being the patient, he only spoke directly to my husband and acknowledged my husband and it felt like I wasn't even in the room. The cherry on top was that upon reviewing my visit notes in my electronic health chart after the visit, I saw that he marked all of my symptoms that I reported to him as negative/non-existent, which is literally perpetuating false information. I hope no other patient has to go through the same experience and would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

We went to urgent care and he was on duty for my disable husband who has heavy chest congestion. And he prescribed Benzonate for cough.
He should be no star but still giving 1 star
