The food was quick coming out and was hot..... Great service.... Really down to earth atmosphere

This is a great place to eat! We enjoyed our food and have made it like a family ritual to come at least once a month if not twice! They are starting to catch on to who we are and what we order. The waitress are decent to us every time

The food was delicious and as we had ordered. The chili cheese fries are something I get every time I go there.

I love this place one of the best Coney Islands with some amazing food great prices really old fashioned and very popular. It is a must visit if you ever near one definitely have to try out their milkshakes and the one here in Clinton is no exception great customer service great times awesome food.

Absolutely LOVED it!!! The food was fast, hot, and delicious!!! The shakes and sundaes were wonderful!! And our waitress, absolutely AMAZING!! She did an excellent job, very attentive, nice, and on point!! She never missed a beat! Even my kids that are 12, 9, and 7 raved about how good she was!!! I'm a server myself so I have naturally higher expectations for service when we go out to eat and she definitely met all of those!! Would definitely recommend the Clinton, NC location and will most definitely be back!!!

I appreciate the employees at this location. Especially the young man who prepared my food. He was cooking fresh food and after cleaning his area he removed his gloves, properly washed his hands and put on new gloves. I praised him in the restaurant and I let him and his manager know that I appreciated him really caring not just about the food preparation but for the care he put into the area he prepared the food. The food was sooooo delicious and my experience was awesome Thanks again, job well done!

I liked the food & service so much on my first visit yesterday, that I came back today & was just as satisfied.. I recommend Hwy. 55 to anyone looking for great food, friendly service at reasonable prices.. I'm going to be a frequent diner.

Great place for a burger that doesn't look or taste like fast food. The food is always fast and delicious and the staff is the best! If you're just milling around downtown Clinton, or they've just called recess at the courthouse, you gotta stop in and grab a bite!

It’s hard to mess up a hot dog and onion rings, but whenever I get the craving I know the place to go. They never disappoint me! Fast and friendly service.

Great food choices, granddaughter got shrimp plate, perfect size, I got half chicken cheesesteak, perfect size for lunch. Tea was windlass. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Cook staff was very busy even without customers. Staying active with cleaning and organizing their cooking area.

The food was spot on; however, what impressed me more was the staff! Every single person was working very hard! The restaurant was not busy at all, just a few ppl but the staff stayed busy cleaning and stocking as well as checked on the customers! Nice work Clinton NC, Hwy 55 restaurant!

First time I had ever been to the hwy 55 in Clinton. The food is excellent and the ice cream is comparable to Gordon Ramsay’s cooking. The fact that it used to be an old train station is very interesting. The interior still resembles the station. I would go here again and again until the end of time

Liberty our waitress was outstanding . She was working alone an got swamped with customers . She handled the situation with knowledge and great work characteristics. This young lady would make a great manager . Hats off to her

I shared comments about the waiting staff a few weeks ago that were pretty negative. After a friend tried the restaurant recently he convinced me to try again . I was blown away by the difference from my last experience. The evening staff was awesome (Onya) you've got it !!!!! I will now try the lunch staff again.

Food was awesome as expected. Got the jalapeno philly steak sandwich and it was delicious. Portions are filling and staff was very nice. This Hwy 55 is cooler than most because it is in an old railroad station.

Best milkshakes in town. Also makes fresh orange aids. Delicious Burgers too
