Country Fish Fry

I finally decided to stop here and try their fish because every night I would see the line looped around the building. I thought this place must be good. So I get in the extra long line. I am in line for almost 20 minutes. The line was so long the employees came outside to take our order. They did a good job too because when I got up to the window they had my order waiting for me. I told the man at the window I had never eaten there before. He promised me I would return after I tasted the fish. It was a five dollar manager special which was french fries hush puppies and fish. I got some hush puppies too! All that for $5.00! Do you know what? The man at the window is right. I will go back. The fish was good. It was not greasy. It did not have bones. The tartar sauce was good. The french fries were average. But the hush puppies were excellent.

Outstanding food. This place is a hole in the wall but you won't find better food and quick service. There building looked dated and old but the health score was a 100. I'll definitely be back soon!!

Love this place, who doesn't.
If you love fresh fried fish, this is it.
Sad they closed up the Spring Lake location, maybe they would consider opening up a location closer to Sanford.

First time coming here and will definitely return. The fried fish was amazing and you get your money’s worth here! Highly recommend

Very good food I always get the fish special it’s $5.50 comes with fries hush puppies and fish. Food is really good and tasty and it’s pretty cheap too! Good restaurant to check out! 😊

New here in Fayetteville.. So far the best place to get country fried fish!! VERY TASTY!! The shrimp & hushpuppies are really good!! I could come here everyday.. Good job to the owner of country fried fish .. The food is always fresh & hot.. Only compliant is they could give you a larger drink for your meal..

Food was excellent, my Mama said they were the best of Fayetteville. We ordered from the Park and Pay. Line maybe extremely long but they work swiftly.

The 5.99 fish special was worth it baby.... 3 nice size pieces of fish French fries and hush puppies.... I also added slaw for 2 more... the tea is better than any bodies I promise you they got more bang for your buck and it's great food.... you will not be disappointed.....

I went here with my parents and I will do my best to revisit soon. The food was great and for a reasonable price. Even though they were busy the food came out hot and looked delicious.

The wait was long in the drive thru, almost 30 minutes, but it was completely worth the wait. Freshly cooked to order with large portion size, and the fish tasted great!
