Timberlake's Restaurant and Headwaters Pub

We only tested the breakfast but it was great. Very friendly staff and the lodge decor is great. The kid's menu has plenty of choices and the portions are large. The omelet is good but not the best I ever had and the grits were a little bit dry. I would recommend to stick with the classics or the eggs Benedicts.

Had a great time at Timberlake Restaurant in Chetola Resort while enjoying the Christmas lights. Gotta say, the wings were fantastic – super crispy and packed with amazing flavor. If you're in the area and craving some good eats, it's worth a visit.

We had drinks at the bar, and they were delicious. The staff was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. We stopped in for a quick libation and ended up staying for several hours.

We were back for Thanksgiving. It was perfect in every regard.

We had a 6 :00 reservation granted we were just a few minutes late with 2 kids one 3 and the other 5 months quite a walk to the front door. They had great live music which was outstanding because the hostess told us we would have to wait. It was about a fifteen minute wait even with reservations. Now the food was amazing , and that was why we were there anyway, service was very slow, I guess in the mountains people like have a slower pace but with children every second counts. I was very delighted there were several families eating that night with small children. I did overhear apologies to other tables about the wait and forgetting some of their orders.

This place was to die for. So so good. Sad I didn’t let the “phone eat first” to share how good the food looked with you. Chloe was a great server and we enjoyed every dish. Spicy Mac and cheese, salmon, pork ribeye, spring rolls, and the chocolate mousse. Yum yum.

Beautiful setting at the Chetola Lodge. I was able to make reservation on Google very easily. Great service, incredible selection of drinks and dishes. Our food was cooked and prepared perfectly. There is also a nice patio area with a fire overlooking a lake. Convenient to Blowing Rock and Boone. When we were there they had musicians playing in the lobby area, not sure how often they have this. It really made for a great atmosphere.

Classy, high quality dining. Best Chilean Sea Bass I've ever had. Good drink selection. Many menu items I'm looking forward to on future visits.

Classy, elegant dining in lodge atmosphere. We went to Timberlake's for our anniversary dinner last night and were impressed by the service (excellent job Chloe!), the ambiance (we had a small table for two overlooking the lake and beside a fireplace) and the excellent food ( my husband had Elk loin steak in a maple bacon glaze and I had the NY strip with lyonnais sauce and blue cheese butter). It was an excellent culinary experience complete with wine and craft beer for under $100! The views of the lakes along with the bonfire outside and live music inside made for a memorable evening.

The food was delicious and you received a good portion. The atmosphere was nice with live music. The outside seating and fire pit was cozy but it was a rainy and cold day when we visited.

Nice restaurant located on the Resort Grounds. We had the Breakfast Buffet and it was wonderful. Eggs, Bacon, French Toast, Grits, Pastries and more. Very good place to start your day.

Great service! Our waitress (Hannah I think) was very knowledgeable and attentive! The food was spectacular!

We ate here multiple times during our stay, and the food was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent food on the grounds of the Chetola Resort. It can be a bit crowded so make a reservation and expect service to take a bit.

Timberlake's is in a resort-like plot of land that is absolutely beautiful. The menu has fresh, delicious ingredients that are perfectly prepared. They came up with creations I've never heard of that made my night. The service is also excellent!

I almost have 4 stars because of some sass from the chef but everyone else was so amazing. I couldn’t bring down their reviews for that. Our server Bryson (sp?) was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. So patient with our group and helpful. No problem splitting the bill or asking for modifications. When making reservations for our large group, their event staff was very helpful and accommodating. The sass from the chef was over-salting a hamburger patty and then saying there was no salt. There was salt you could visually see that I tried scraping off before admitting defeat and requesting a new one. We did also have one breakfast here that was diner-food-like. Overall, service was amazing. Food was so-so.

Sat outside on a beautiful day. Service was a bit slow because they were so busy and possibly a person or two short. However, our server was very friendly and nice and was trying her best.

We had an excellent experience for dinner last night- great food and great service! My husband ordered the duck pasta and I ordered the NY strip sandwich and both were delicious. Our waitress was Abby and she was very knowledgeable, efficient, and kind.
