Outback Steakhouse

I've read the reviews and how some were unhappy. Not sure where they went but our visit and fool was awesome and our server Lauren was exceptional. She was attentive but not over, she was nice and helpful.

My husband and I visited this location a few weeks ago and I just wanted to share our experience. We walked in and were promptly seated. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest waitress, Macy! As a vegetarian in a steakhouse, I wasn’t sure what to order. Macy was so patient and walked me through several options. She was very knowledgeable on the menu. My husband enjoyed his steak tremendously and I was thrilled with my meal as well. Macy was just awesome and we will be sure to asked to be seated in her section next time we have a date night!

Server, April was excellent. The restaurant has made some very positive changes over the last few months. Up until then wait times were very long, even for call-ahead. , service was slow, and food was not up to Outback expectations. We met the manager, Eddie, and shared all of our pleasure with what has returned to the Blowing Rock Outback. Excellent job.

I loved our server. She was the best including her hair and she was very sweet and attentive and made sure everything was right, and made sure that we were happy with our meal. Thank you so much Macy and outback. We will be back!!

The food was delicious, I can’t recommend the pork chops enough. Our server Macy was fantastic and the manager Eddie was great. We will definitely be back soon. Our visit to the Blowing Rock Outback was way better than a 5

Hadn’t been to Outback in years. Stopped in while visiting Boone. Food was good, blooming onion is always a nice treat! Had an amazing server named Macy who treated us with such kindness.

Outback is always a favorite of ours and the Blowing Rock location was great! Megan was a wonderfully sweet hostess and Bella did an amazing job as our server! Everything was prompt and prepared just right and refills were brought without even having to ask!

Noah was a great server! He was on it in refillin’ our drinks and popped up like Superman when I was out of water 👌🏽 10/10 recommend! Plus my pasta was smack 👨🏽‍🍳💋

Food and service was great. Desert was wonderful. New York cheese cake was awesome. I like the environment, no disturbance coming from the bar. I wish there was a way to behind the bar to go to the bathrooms. You either have to circle the bar or go all they way around the whole restaurant. Other than that, thank you for taking care of our grieving family and also of our birthday kids. I know that times are hard but I wish we had one of your restaurants in Ashe County, I know it would get filled often.

My husband and I had our 1st date night (02/17/24) out in over 7 yrs; I don't recall the bartenders name, but she was absolutely amazing working the bar area alone! We didn't have to wait on our drink orders, the food was a 10+ we can't wait to come back to the Outback (hey that ryhms lol) Keep up the good work and give that gal a raise!!!
On another note, my purse had fallen to the floor without my knowledge, and the honesty of the staff was superb as a waiter saw my purse fall and so graciously brought it to my attention... THANK YOU!!!!

It was busy on a Sunday evening after sunset and we were told it was 30-40 minute wait but it went faster and our waitress was so sweet!

Stopped her one night on vacation. It was delicious! The salad was so good. Blooming onion was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. Our server Ren did an amazing job!! Definitely would eat here next time we visit.

Noah was the best server! He went above and beyond to make our experience great. The food was wonderful, as always!

Bella was a great server and we enjoyed her so much! The blooming onion came out all collapsed and soggy and they over seasoned the fries rather then that the food was great.

I had such a good time here with my friends from out of town! Our server Lauren was the best server she was so nice and welcoming and very attentive to us. Our food came out quickly and was just as good as Lauren’s. We will be back soon!

A friend and I decided last minute to eat here and I'm really glad we did. The atmosphere was great, the food was wonderful and all the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, except for the manager. He kept lingering in different areas of the restaurant and playing on his cell phone, as if he had better places to be, and with a sour look on his face. Other than that, it was perfect.

our server ren was one of the best servers we have ever had. she brought out everything we needed quickly and always made sure we had fresh drinks, would highly recommend!

Mikayla and Jacy served us at the bar. It was a wonderful experience. Nice people and they provided great service. The food was delicious. We will be sure to come back to the Outback at Blowing Rock!

Bruin is the best server ever! She told me about how her sister had a baby and she took it over after she passed away and the baby lost all its legs and arms and now its just a stump but she takes care of it with wife chase and... and its growing and its fairly happy... and its difficult because shes working a second shift at the factory to put food on the table but all the love that she see in that little guy's face it makes it worth it in the end. True story. Jack was also good.

our server ren was a joy!! very patient and kept us updated. always made sure we had fresh drinks. will come back and request for them!
