Great place and friendly staff. It can be very busy so would recommend arriving early or putting your name on the wait list quickly. If you have kids you could put
Your name and go to the playground next door while waiting.

Bartender was very friendly and it is possible to order food from the bar without waiting (assuming there is room).

The wings and pizza are very good. The kids loved the place. The athmosphere is also unique to Mellow Mushroom and highly recommend.

We went up the the Blowing Rock area for New Years day and decided to go to Mello Mushroom for dinner. We had pretzel bites and bruschetta for started Followed by the magic mushroom soup. We also had the loaded pizza and a couple of the sandwiches. All the food was excellent and the service was quick and efficient. This is a definite stop for a good pizza if you are in the area. We have been to the Ashville and Hickory locations as well and every time it has been an excellent meal.

Food: I loved their Shitake Pie Pizza. It's absolutely covered in toppings, particularly mushrooms and a garlic sauce that I really enjoyed. Their mushroom soup was also very good as a quick appetizer. On a seperate occasion, I also had their Margarita Pizza. It was fantastic as well. Overall, their pizza is fantastic and the crust is to die for.

Pricing: Their prices are higher than most pizza places, but if you all split a large pizza, it is still cheaper as opposed to getting 3-4 seperate dishes at most other restaurants. You can easily get out for $30 if you all split a pizza.

Service: The person we had wait on us was very friendly and attentative. No complaints or anything to mention.

Atmosphere: Nothing crazy here but it was very clean and pretty cool. Not a hole in the wall by any means.

We went to 'Art in the Park' at Blowing Rock and chose to get lunch at Mellow Mushroom even if the wait was long. The hostess estimated a wait of 30 minutes but about 10 minutes later we received a text that our table was ready. Yeah!!

We sat on the patio and had 'Great White Pizza' and 'House Salad'. The pizza's toppings included five cheeses. I was afraid that I would miss meat but didn't in the least because the cheese pizza was DELICIOUS! It was probably the best pizza I've ever eaten.

The service and food was great! I highly recommend this Mellow Mushroom.

We came in for lunch after hiking. We had the cloud 9 wings which were done perfectly! We also got the thai chili wings too. Then we shared a large house special pizza. Everything was good! Our server was friendly, helpful, and patient. Bathrooms were clean and location was great!

Amazing food, great service, and the theming of the building is spectacular! Whether you stop for a quick bite, or get lunch, this is the place to go!

Our favorite place in the Blowing Rock. Is there finer dining around...sure. but we all want Mellow Mushroom. Was in town for 5 days and ate there twice for dinner. Great for big families or groups. Better pizza than we can get anywhere in Fla.

The pretzels were lightly cooked like I requested and hot! Our pizza came just as I’d ordered and it was amazing! Service was great! I love the location and vibe, feels less corporate than most locations.

Consistently great. This is our must go-to when visiting Blowing Rock and it never disapoints. I grew up going to Mellow in Asheville so it's fun to get a taste of nostalgia without getting let down.

The beer is great on tap (unlike another restaurant we tried in town) and the pizza is awesome.

Loved this place! Great drinks & food. Staff are all friendly & attentive. Marie & Blake were also helpful in giving recommendations on things to see & do in the area. We had the Thai Dye Pie, which is very unique but delicious!! The crust is amazing! Highly recommend this place!

I loved my wedge salad. I tasted the pizza too and liked that too. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and anticipated our needs. I was kinda surprised how much I enjoyed my meal because Blowing Rock is VERY busy so I was ready to be patient and forgiving. But everything went smoothly, timely, and I never felt rushed.

This is a fantastic location of mellow mushroom. All the servers are friendly. Pizza was made fresh. Got 2 meals out of a small Za!

Got right in on a Friday night, granted it was about 4:30. Both of our pizzas were amazing. Our waitress was really on top of everything. Beautiful outdoor seating right off the sidewalk. Would definitely recommend to any pizza lovers and will be back if in the area again.

Busy busy busy but they do a fantastic job of getting folks seated and n food out to tables. A favorite in BR, we visit almost every time we are in town. Fun funky vibe, nice options for pizza, gluten free crust is what you’ll expect and toppings make it all good!! Servers are pros and get the job done with ease and consistency. Well-run establishment.

I had the Thin Crust (Crispy) half cheese, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. I am not a fan of their thicker pizzas, but their thin crust was perfect, and great flavors. I highly recommend it.

Service was great! The staff here is always friendly from the time you walk through the door to the time you leave. Food is super good and comes out hot and fresh every time. Service is fast and great.

Hell yes is all you need to say when some one asks do you want mellow mushroom to eat!! This is my 3rd time at this location and I must say it delivered ever single time!! Staff is a younger crowd but they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Alot of people like thin crust for their pie but bear in mind it's brick oven cooked so I always recommend normal crust but hey that's just me. It is kind of pricey for a personal pizza so I wouldn't suggest for take out but for dinning in it's definitely worth the atmosphere!
