My brother was wanting to propose to his girlfriend after they went skiing and I called to see if they would allow us to use their gazebo. The staff was so so friendly and was there if we needed any help/questions. I would highly recommend this place to stay or eat at their restaurant! It was delicious! Very beautiful property.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Staff was kind and helpful, the room was lovely, and the resort was beautiful. Amazing indoor pool and our whole family had a wonderful time.

Had a wonderful stay at Chetola Resort! Check in was a breeze and the ladies at the front desk were so nice. Stayed in the Lodge in a 2 queen room that was very large and spotless upon arrival, great view overlooking the lake. It was a plus having a mini fridge and wet bar. The bedding was high quality. The pool/hot tub area was a nice amenity we used. We also had fun getting after dinner drinks at the Pub which had live music both nights - what a fun place! The grounds are well kept and I was able to get a good work out in with a long trail walk. Very close to downtown Blowing Rock. We used shuttle service to go out to eat one night. All the staff were nice and friendly. Hope to be back soon!

Great experience for a 3-day weekend. We stayed in the Timberlake Lodge part of the resort and loved the nightly wine tastings, pub and view of the lake from our room. The service was great, location to downtown Blowing Rock was excellent and we loved our massages.

Great condo with lofted ceilings, fireplace and plenty of room for 4 people. The grounds are gorgeous, wonderful for walks and the main inn is a lot of fun to explore. Can’t wait to stay there again!!

We stayed over Christmas break in one of the condo. The rooms are clean and very well equiped. The view is very nice. You can buy wood ($10) for cheminey. The resort has a good restaurant for breakfast (and lunch/dinner). The pool is nice and the playroom is good for rainy days with the kids.

There are several trails nearby as well as ski resort (Appalachian) about 25 minutes away. The resort also have fishing in the lake and disc golf course.

Ugh so quaint and charming. We spent a few night here after our wedding in Raleigh and loved it. The spa experience was great, rooms were great - huge tub and fireplace - staff was great. Free ice cream? We were in heaven.

This was our first visit to Chetola Resort and we will return. Our 3rd floor double queen room with the balcony overlooking the lake was exactly what we expected. Recently updated, very comfortable beds and clean.

The hotel, Restraunt and pub staff were awesome - friendly, helpful and caring. Each went out of their way to make us feel like welcomed guest. The pub and restaurant food was fine. It was nice to have a late morning breakfast available, and we enjoyed a casual dinner in the pub a couple of times during our stay. The full restaurant menu was available in the pub, which blends in nicely into the restaurant. The location made it easy to go into town or take a ride on the Parkway. The resort provided us with a very relaxing stay. We look forward to our next visit.

This is our first time staying at Chetola Resort and it was great. The scenery is great, the people are friendly, and if you have the time, the fishing was a great experience. Quinn was a great instructor and I would recommend asking for him.

Incredible, idyllic location. Literally minutes from countless sights and activities. Nice, slow, relaxed atmosphere.
*Make a reservation for dinner at Timberlake’s restaurant. It sells out/books solid early every night.
THANK YOU to Isabel, wonderful waitress, and to Luke, in the Orvis/outdoor shop (onsite), who took time to answer my questions.

We absolutely love coming up to Chetola! Highlights for us include the kids club, heated pool, pickleball courts and how close it is to everything else we love to do in the area! Only 8 min from Tweetsie and close to shopping! We are huge fans. Everything is so beautiful, rooms are clean and well laid out, and the food at Bob Timberlake restaurant is divine!

Wonderful location. Wonderful, calming, relaxing grounds. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. Perfect spa. Large indoor pool. Walking trail. Wonderful restaurant food. ONLY issue was the Extremely loud, rude people above us that prevented us from being able to sleep. But that wasn't the fault of Chetola. We will be back! Just on the top floor!

This was our first time at The Chetola Resort. We stayed at the Lodge. We were celebrating our 2nd babymoon, my birthday and going to Tweetsie Christmas for the first time with our daughter. The service was exceptional! It felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with all the festive Christmas lights and smores by the firepits. We listened to live music at the Timberlake Bar the first night here and it was convenient to have breakfast right there in the morning as well. Great for families and kids, we will be back!

If you want rest and relaxation, this is the place. It is quiet, secluded off of the busy main street area of Blowing Rock. The rooms in The Timberlake Inn are beautiful. It is a lovely place.

My family and I stayed from 02/08-02/10. We have 3 kids ranging from age 9 to 10 months. This resort was AMAZING and extremely kid friendly! The room was extremely clean, and the staff was extremely sweet and helpful. The grounds are absolutely stunning as well! The pool was well kept, and they had tons of life jackets of all different sizes, and TONS of pool toys. Everything is super close to this lodge, so it was very convenient. Because of our amazing experience, we decided this will be an annual trip for our little family.

Had the best experience here. I believe it was Macy who was the biggest help on Friday (4/28/2023). We spilled something in our room and I went to the front desk for cleaning supplies. She offered to clean it, which I refused because it was our mess. Then she got us some cleaning supplies. She came to our room soon after with extra cloths to clean with, made sure we didn’t need anything else, and told us to out the dirty linens outside our room so she could pick them up and they wouldn’t have to stay in our room. That level of helpfulness is rare and so much appreciated. Our proximity to everything in the area was perfect. We could walk to downtown Blowing Rock or take the shuttle. The shuttle was prompt for pick ups and we could schedule them to pick us up from other areas too. The restaurant on site was so-so experience for food but our server was amazingly helpful. I will leave a review there.

Beautiful resort! I didn't stay at the resort, I did, however, visit an acquaintance at the resort, and it is beautiful! Definitely worth the visit!

This resort is awesome! The staff is super kind and helpful! I only wish the walls were thicker because we often heard other guests talking outside our door. Other than that the rooms were very comforting! Plenty of things to do! Great location and the food is great--though a touch over priced.
