Their cheesecake is so good!!!!! We had the Reeses cheesecake. It was so creamy and had so much flavor in it. Took me a whole week to finish this little cake. I think about this cake a lot when I'm craving cheesecakes.

I love this little place, their cheesecakes are SO good! I tried the key lime cheesecake and my sister got the pecan pie cheesecake and they were both incredible! They’re definitely large enough to split between 2-3 people and they’ve got a good selection of cheesecake flavors.

This Is a Destination in Blowing Rock, NC and probably the best and most unique desserts and pastries you will have in your life - all hand made. We couldn't decide so we bought an assortment and came back to get more right after. The cremes is incredible - we bought like 6 pieces and all of the other things are outstanding as well!

Flavia’s would definitely rate 10 stars. This pastry business is located in a tiny cottage, think She Shed, on a small side street in downtown Blowing Rock. Everything was nicely labeled and priced but there were names I hadn’t heard before. Julie was very informative and kindly answered all of our, “Ooooh, what’s that?” questions. We were torn between a couple of items, so like any sensible person, we bought both. She told us to eat them at room temperature for best enjoyment. She said the “Crème” is homemade puff pastry with a thick layer of Mousseline Cream. That means they take their crème patisserie and then add silky butter. Is your mouth watering yet? We each got a Crème and a Cream Puff. We ate the Crème first and sweet mother of all things delicious, it was otherworldly. We immediately prayed that the Puff would have the same filling. It did. When we go back next year, I’ll be getting a treat for everyday we are there.

TIP #1: Beware Donna. She was in the next store Serves You Right. She offered to take our pink pastry box. Everyone in BR is so nice, we thought she was being helpful so we could shop. Then we saw the humorous glint in her eyes! Pastry Thief! LOL! Donna and Karen told us that Julie is the daughter and her mother is from Germany. The mom makes everything in Hickory and they drive it up fresh every day. They raved about everything!

TIP #2: They are closed every Wednesday, so plan ahead.

It’s always a treat to stop in & get a sweet to take home. The desserts are delicious. Even though the place is tiny they have a great selection of truly amazing sweets

Bought some cheesecakes and Macarons for a birthday celebration and everyone loved them.
We had a 3 hour drive but they did great in a cooling bag.

They are amazing! I live across the state from blowing rock and they went above and beyond to help me pick out goodies over the phone for my Mother-in-law’s birthday. I will sing their praises from ENC for all to hear. Thank you for the wonderful customer experience!

This is the most delicious cheesecake I've tasted! We've tried 5 flavors so far and they are all delicious! We even had a chance to meet the owner and she is amazing. If you're in Blowing Rock you should check out Flavia's.

Well let me just start by saying, the desserts are deffinitly heavenly. The coconut cake was the best I have ever had. The oreo cheesecake was a piece of perfection lastly the puff pastry was another best I've ever had, I'm not sure who makes these desserts, I will say they are a artist thes little desserts are masterpieces.the young lady that helped use was very heplful and friendly.

Everything I’ve had from Flavia’s, whether my wedding cake or items to go from her storefront... never disappoints! Give it a try! You will love every bite! I can’t buy too many Cremes at a time. They are dangerously good. My favorite spot!

Best macarons ever! The coconut was sublime…and the Raspberry Opera cake….no words…Y’all must visit this gem if you’re in Blowing Rock, you won’t be disappointed!

flavia’s is a romanian family business and is really sweet! jalissa is super sweet and sells the pastries and her mom flavors makes the tasty treats🤍.
