Barcenas Mexican Restaurant

Went for dinner/ happy hour and everything was good. The drinks were good, the mix was a little sweet for my taste but still enjoyable especially with my grand Marnier floater on top. The bartender was very helpful and friendly... I had chicken fajitas and had plenty to bring home. The tortillas were homemade ( I love authentic tortillas, and I'm super picky about them), the chicken was flavorful, and the grilled onions added a good touch...My mom had the enchiladas trio. She wasn't impressed with the shredded chicken enchilada, but loved the other ones... Also, the salsa, both red and green were very flavorful (I'm a stickler for good salsa)...

Awesome food and came out hot. Servers were great and personable. Our group enjoyed the food!

I was recommended to try this place out so I did and I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent from the chips and salsa, to the plate that I ordered to the staff. I was impressed and can't wait to come back.

Very Very good restaurant everything on the menu is really good the menudo with pozole soup off the chain!! Really good cheese enchiladas 😋 me n my wife really love them...

Group of 7 for my sister’s birthday. First time and we’re pleasantly surprised and pleased with all the amazing choices. We all enjoyed soups, salads, enchiladas with all the sides. Very good and recommend!

Ever single meal I’ve had at Barcenas has been great. Enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, queso, nachos….it’s all good. Friendliest staff out there also.

I’ve gone here for years and the quality of the food has always been consistent. The staff are all friendly as well. The prices have gone up in the last couple of years but that’s the only real complaint. It’s also very rare to have a long wait if any. I wouldn’t order takeout though, the few times I did that the pricing was a bit extreme. I would order extra of the free items in restaurant and be charged prices that I consider high.

Soooooooo good! Staff was on top of things, friendly, & FAST :) good margarita happy hour special. Fantastic food, I got the soft beef tacos, Good prices, complimentary chips and salsa, Nice quality disposable napkins. Highly recommend.

Tried this place for lunch last week. Great food, great atmosphere. Service could have been better, though. They completely forgot my charro beans, but they made it up to me by giving me two orders of charro beans to go with chips and salsa. More than likely, we'll be back.

Love this place. Feels at home. Great food and great price's. Treat you like family. No here on every Sunday morning. So this time....dont get me wrong, love this place. It's better to eat in then get a togo order. That's the problem. The ranck sauce, you only get half. The chips and sausa not muck. You spent $60 and do not get anywhere what you would dining in. Better to eat in.

Just want me and my wife ordered everything was delicious we really enjoyed it. Hot sauce was also great and fresh, even got some adult beverages great atmosphere really great customer service. We'll be back for sure!!

We absolutely loved everything about this place! The food was amazing. The staff was so nice and attentive. My daughter got the kids mini chimi's but she didn't really care for them, lol kids, our server was so great he immediately grabbed them and asked what else she'd like and brought her a quesadilla so fast! She liked that and ended up eating all my chicken from my fajitas. I got the chicken, steak, and shrimp...AMAZING! My husband loved hisb2 crispy tacos and enchilada. My daughter and I also love Flan, get it every time it's on a menu, and this did not disappoint! The margaritas were great and the beer cold, highly recommend this Mexican place over all others.

Had not been here on 20 yrs. The food was very good, the service impeccable and the atmosphere and cleanliness were good. I will return again soon!

Decided to try this restaurant after looking at reviews. I was very impressed with everything here. Nice relaxing atmosphere, fast service, all employees are friendly and smiling, and food is really good. I had the cheese enchiladas and they were excellent. I will definitely be back. Bring your whole family and I bet everyone will enjoy.

Very clean and welcoming restaurant with delicious food and great drinks! I went here during lunch when plates were $5, and the margaritas were cheap too! The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh, the salsa is made with fresh ingredients, and the margarita was delicious and strong! Friendly wait staff and hosts too. Great place! Definitely recommend.

We love this place! Real Mexican food. If you like mole this is THE place to get it. My husband has tried the mole all over the Houston area and this is where it's at. Great service and the food is amazing.

Supper good and authentic Mexican food. My fajita quesadilla was amazing. And we got here in time for the special marg price of $3 each. What a steal!!
