Elgin Laundromat

Elgin laundromat has many large machines, a plus for washing duvets and large loads like towels after a family swim event. In fact, they have a large assortment of various sizes of washers, from small for the delicates load to regular, to plus, then the giant machines. Both classic and HE washers offered. Reasonable prices, can pay using coins or a card. The owners, Jay and his wife are meticulous about cleaning, very hard to keep up with the crowds on busy days, but they do their best. Facility is open 24 hours, and has cameras inside and out for the security of their patrons. Their cell is posted inside, and they are prompt at coming down to the facility to address any issues or problems. A great place to do laundry, owned by hard working and good hearted people. I won't go anywhere else to do laundry when a laundromat is needed.

Almost 2 years never a bad experience. Family oriented Gracious owners glad to have found them. I remember the day they got brand new washers the owners washed all my loads for free! That was amazing! I will always remember the kindness thank you Mr J,and God bless you!

Awesome place to stop in and do all of our laundry. Today was a large load as we needed to wash all of our bedding, towels, day-to-day clothes, and our pup's blanket. First time we had been to this location and we were pleasantly surprised! We came in at 2:30/3:00 and it's Thursday, we had the whole place to ourselves! The owner came in when we had just out our loads in the dryers ( we only needed two!) and was just so lovely and down to Earth. He asked how we were and if the free WiFi was up to standards (what a luxury!) and went on to apologize for the "mess" ( it was so much cleaner than many mats we'd been to) and went on to apologize about the restroom being out of order due to some kids shoving toys down the toilet, poor guy. So sweet, hospitable and you can tell he honestly cares about his facility, he even offered for us to hop over next door if we needed anything (works at the car shop next door). You just can't go wrong with free WiFi (able to upload our YouTube video quickly), AC, change machine, credit/debit card options, vending machines, small arcade, TV, and best of all a GENUINE gentleman as an owner! We will be back :)

Jay keeps the place clean very often during the day. The bathroom is always clean when I visit on a Saturday. He has bought new washing machines and dryers this year. There are also security cameras.

Best laundry place in Elgin (for me), basically the TIDIEST one, and pretty well cared (and less expensive) machines.

Its a good place to wash clothes. The reason why is 5 stars is because the owner is absolutly fantastic. Hes jay owns the automotive place right next door, if you ever need help ask him, sometimes hes very busy though!

This was my first laundromat experience and I couldn’t have been happier. Plenty of different sized washing machines and the dryers were also great. It was clean and not too crowded.

We are full time RVers and had to stop to find a laundromat in Elgin and we were extremely pleased with our experience. We met the owner and he was so kind and hospitable to us. We will definitely be stopping to do our laundry on our next trip thru! 😉

I use the location frequently the owner is very nice if there's ever a problem just let him know his number is posted oh and the dryers get really hot which means your clothes can dry quickly

1 quarter equals 5 minutes and the dryers dry pretty fast. Haven't used the washing machines but considering my dryer is broken I'll be coming back.

Nice big washers, quick drying dryers and they have a Pac-man arcade game.

Since us moving to elgin we love doing our laundry there, Ac Is cold n new machines

Old place but everything seems to work well. The bathroom at least has a lock.
