I was so fortunate to stumble upon this shop on my birthday! After having a wonderful time shopping around and talking about great music with Kim, I got to go to dinner in my gorgeous new dress (not pictured). After dinner, I got to snuggle in my brand new crochet blanket! To top it all off, I spent my morning after drinking coffee my on back patio in my brand new parrot button up! 🥰 I can't WAIT to come back and shop around more! Stumbling on this place made this one of my favorite birthdays to date! Thank you, Kim! ❤

This place is FANTASTIC! Elgin is so lucky to have a vintage shop like NewBo. I bought so many amazing vintage pieces when I went in and had a blast chatting with the one of the co-owners while I shopped. They get new stuff in every week so I'll definitely be in regularly.

One of those small town finds you want to keep to yourself, but also want to see the awesome owners and their business make some 💰💰! Definitely worth checking out for some older, classic western wear along with other styles! Supporting small businesses makes you a cool cat!

This place is amazing and is extremely well curated by the owner herself. The prices are decent and the shelves and racks hold an amazing array of high quality vintage wear including cool t-shirts from the 70s and 80s and a great selection of vintage western wear. If you need just the right garment but don't feel like spending endless hours sifting through a thrift store, New Bohemia is the perfect place for you.

The reviewer who said prices being “200% over market” is misinformed. If you mean prices are higher than thrift stores, yes....but this place ISN’T a thrift store. The owner and vendors spend a lot of time hand selecting the merchandise, so customers don’t have to waste their time shifting through thrift store duds to find the gems. They also clean and restore everything in stock so items are ready to wear out the door. Those services are well worth the prices they charge.

If anything, most of their prices are BELOW market value. The owners actually lowered prices once they relocated New Bohemia from S Congress to it’s current location. This is an old school style vintage shop, not a curated boutique/specialty vintage shop. By avoiding being too specialized, they sell in volume, and that keeps their prices low! I regularly see gems here that more ‘curated’ vintage stores would sell for 2-3x more.

There’s a LOT to see here.The staff can narrow your search if you’re in a rush. Otherwise, enjoy browsing....and leaving with some good deals.

They moved up north to Airport, and this space is so much of a better fit. Of course, their store on South Congress was a SOCO staple, but they have so much more space at their new place! It’s one huge warehouse size room, with much more space for a fantastic selection of vintage! There is an amazing selection of incredibly luxurious vintage pieces, which are rightfully expensive, but they also have a ton of equally great vintage at any price point. They have every item of clothing, in every style, from every decade. The clothing, jewelry and accessories you’d find here are always going to be worth the price. The staff and everyone at New Bohemia is so kind, friendly and helpful, and I always feel confident that I’m getting my money’s worth, as they seriously have amazing selection and quality.

This has always been one of my fave vintage clothes spots (I once got a Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress for a song) and the new space suits them.

We absolutely loved shopping here for new old treasures. Lots of great finds, from pearl snaps & jackets & skirts to boots & overalls! We'll miss it and wish them the best on new adventures!

Neat boutique with a lot of vintage clothes, jewelry and a small selection of household items. Was fun to see the old styles. Will definitely return.

What an awesome gently used clothing store! Vintage, slightly gently used. All you find is still serviceable. I found a very very nice blue pinstriped suit that happened to fit me perfectly for only $45! Can't beat it with a stick! Visit New Bohemia, browse around. You just mind find a diamond in the rough. See Ms Taya for friendly and knowledgeable service. They have two fitting rooms so that you may try on what you plan to buy. Boots, cowboy and otherwise, men's suits and blazers, ladies you name it, jewelry, hats, scarves blouses and an assortment of leather jackets!. Just a fun place to browse. Stop by the New Bohemia on Airport Blvd in Austin co-located next to Teddys Nail salon and the Omelettry diner.

Great selection of vintage clothing! Be sure to check out the back room, it's full of 1920s-50s clothes, which is super groovy!

The most beautifully organized thrift store I've been into in a while. It's very easy to peruse about and find something special with the way the shop is set up. Lots of jewelry to look through, and lots of spectacular pieces that look more like a boutique than a thrift store.

I have bought so many wonderful pieces here and have not spent much money in the process. My biggest find was on the sale rack outside; and it was one of the most beautifully done tie-dyed t-shirts I'd ever seen. I bought it for my boyfriend and he wears it with pride. He tells me that it's his favorite shirt. Awww....:)

A place that has a perfect sport blazer for me and two vintage bathing suits for my wife in the same store is a special place indeed. The selection here is ridiculously well-curated and priced EXTREMELY well for the quality. The people who work here know EXACTLY how to find the best vintage look for you. I can't wait to check out their new men's store, New Brohemia (srsly).

new bohemia is, hands down, the best vintage store i've been to in any city, anywhere. their selection is unparalleled. i was shocked when i picked up two super cute, high quality, handmade dresses straight out of the 60s and 70s for $25 each. they also have a great selection of costume jewelry, cowboy boots, and menswear (at new brohemia). i highly recommend this place.

Classic and modern vintage fashion. You have to dig through the heaps of clothes to find what you're looking for sometimes, but it's worth the effort. I have bought clothes, shoes, belts, jewelry, you name it. And unlike these vintage stores that hike up their prices, this place actually sells their stuff extremely cheap. Worth a visit!

Great selection, good prices, friendly staff and in the same plaza as several other iconic local businesses. New Bohemia is always my first stop when I'm looking for something unique to wear.
