The Range Vintage Trailer Resort

This is one of the absolute best places for Airstream and vintage travel trailer owners. Each of the sites offer the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Embedded among the oaks and cedars and locust trees gave me and my family an unparalleled connection with nature (perfect for our dog). The restaurant and bar are refined and delicious. And the service is equal parts warm and professional. We will be back to The Range many times in the future. Loved this place so much.

What a great experience. The property is beautiful, the staff courteous, and the food. Holy cow. Some of the best pizza I have had - EVER!!! We didn't even get in the pool, but we will next time!

The perfect little getaway! Situated in beautiful, quiet countryside. I went for a girl's weekend with a friend and stayed in the 1963 Ideal rental. It was incredibly hot that weekend so the trailer took some time to cool down, but overall I loved it. I recommend using the bath house instead of the shower in the trailer - too small, not enough water. The chilled pool was great! Friendly guests to chat with. The cutest drink trailer - and they will come to take your order. We reserved the burger dinner and the pizza course dinner and they were both amazing! I can't wait to go back again!

The range is one of the most amazing RV parks you can visit. They have a huge barn where they serve high quality food and the owners are always present and provide amazing service. They also have a very clean wash house with bathrooms and showers. During the summer their pool is really fun and the airstream mini bar is always the place to be. Great food, incredible location and always a great time.

We reserved dinner for 9 on a Friday night. The Service was excellent at the (Airstream) bar and in the dining room (open air barn). The dinner was a delicious 8 course pizza dinner, with 6 different savory pizzas, salad and tasty limoncello dessert.
Mother Nature could have been a little less generous with the heat, but the mounted fans helped a lot.
The grounds were neat and clean. A very enjoyable experience. Our second time there.

Great experience at the range. However, I would have appreciated more interaction from the staff members.

I went on my mini vacation here with my family and rented the 1967 Airstream. It was the best experience for us! The Airstream was beautiful maintained and comfy. I felt safe and so relaxed here. Our favorite was the pool area, mine was being able to order my drinks and they brought it to you at the pool. We ordered the picnic basket, burger box and the best steak dinner I've ever had. The hosts were wonderful and helpful and I even got a drink on the house! Who does that? Everyone was so relaxed and we made new friends who shared their whiskey from Fredericksburg. Yum! This was a true resort style and you must go. I can't wait to go again!

Staying at The Range was an awesome experience, from the time we arrived, to the time we drove away. The super nice lady that checked us in, actually escorted us to our site. The camp site was clean, with a fire pit and Weber grill with charcoal provided. We had a private deck with an awning and beautiful lights for the nighttime, if you wanted. Spent most of the afternoon in a pool whose temperature was set to a perfect 84 degrees. The food was better than most restaurants I’ve been to. Hospitality was the key. The goal seemed to be taking care of whatever I needed. Highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of experiencing The Range this past weekend and it did not disappoint. Paul and Sarah have not forgotten a single detail. From before we even arrived on the property to the moment we left we felt so welcomed. The property is gorgeous! The pool was amazing (still in awe it was cold even though it was 103 outside) Dinner Saturday night was 5 ⭐. Food was out of this world and the service was amazing. I could go on and on about what an awesome experience it was. Thank you for a wonderful time!!!!! Hope to see you soon.

I rented The Range for a birthday party of about 25 people. It was fantastic! We had a Sunday brunch that was absolutely delicious with plenty of food and lots of options. Also had the bar trailer for mimosas and other drinks. The venue was rustic and lovely. It was a cold February day so we didn't do much outside but could tell the set up would work well - pool, fire pits, table games, lots of places to sit and just enjoy the view. The staff was wonderful to work with. Everyone had a great time and was pleased to discover this tucked-away gem. Only drawback for parties is that parking is limited and a bit of a trek to the main event space, but we managed. Those who needed to could be dropped off/picked up at the main barn while others moved the cars. It worked. I would definitely consider this venue for another party and/or one of their regular dinners. Five stars for sure!

We loved every thing about our stay. Paul and Sarah, the owners, have done an impeccable job making this RV resort one of a kind with beautiful set up and grounds and welcoming all guests. The dinner on Saturday night prepared by Chef Keith was delicious. Thank you for providing a family friendly environment for all ages! We look forward to our return and encourage you to keep doing a fabulous job. This is truly a hidden gem!

We attended Easter Brunch this past weekend. Beautiful barn setting with antique place settings and flowers on all the tables. Calm and rustic setting with bluebonnets and wildflowers everywhere. It was so relaxing. Lots of porch games for the adults and fun places for the kids to explore. Could see the potential for summer fun and swimming as the weather warms.

This was our 22nd anniversary dinner and it was great. The ambiance was fantastic. Perfect weather and got to watch the sunset while enjoying some libations. Family style dinner with salad and dessert on a prix fixe menu and cash bar. This place is all about the experience and the owners, OMG, the owners. It was like being at their home for dinner. Had no idea what to expect and we won't stop talking about this place for a while! They were in the process of curing a new brick oven for pizza, should be ready next week and they will be giving free pizza out. It was a bit of a drive from Allen but worth every minute on the road. We will for sure be back.

Beautiful place, amazing owners and the food is delicious. We live close by and plan on staying a night this summer if we can get a reservation. But we have been out to dinner here a few times. I highly recommend trying it out. Plus they have a beautiful pool.

We had heard several people mention The Range and wanted to give it a try and so glad we did! We stayed there over Halloween weekend and had such a great time. We made some new friends, had great meals, the ambience was great, the sites are spacious and private and dog friendly. The staff were always available for anything we might have needed. We can't wait to go back soon!

Staying at The Range was a slice of paradise! We stayed for our first time over New Year's and brought our 16' Airstream Bambi. We drove in on at Thursday, set up, and walked to the barn to pick up our pre-ordered charcuterie box. We met friendly, kind, and fun people hanging at the bar. We booked two extra nights because we loved how relaxing the property was, how friendly the staff were, and how much fun we were having. The walking trails are peaceful. Dinners at the barn with Chef Keith are something we're looking forward to when we come back. The staff was great at communicating and helpful in every way. It's a modern take on camping with a Texas charm of hospitality. We will definitely be staying here again!

We love The Range! It is not your typical RV resort...it is so much more!! Everything was 5* plus! Everyone was super friendly and the food was excellent. Sara and Paul were the best hosts and we will be making it our go to place in Texas!

Most excellent Airstream RV Park near Dallas. Bring your Airstream or rent one of their vintage trailers. Outstanding amenities with most excellent, friendly & accommodating staff. The pool is amazing! Nice large private sites - some more private than others. Go, you will not be disappointed!

Love this place, the chilled pool and great drinks are clutch during the hot Texas summer! The owners are super people and they have done this place right. An easy drive from anywhere in the Metroplex. Check it out!

This was excellent. We had an incredible time. The pool was fantastic and the facilities even better. The chef was from Dallas and outstanding. Dinner was perfect. We look forward to coming back soon!

This was perfect for kids. But there are lots of things to do for people without kids.
