Jalisco's Mexican Restaurants

We were so tired from moving and came here for lunch. I’m so glad. Our waiter was so nice and kind. He said don’t worry I’ll take care of it you relax after I was a little short with him. I told him I didn’t mean to be short I was just tired. He smiled and brought our food quickly, asked if I liked coffee and said ok. Then brought me coffee without me asking. So nice to meet nice caring people. Food was AWESOME! Lots of flavor and great portions! If in Bastrop Texas you should try it!

Prices are high, but wow the food is stupendous! My husband and son are big eaters but the fajita plate for 2 was so huge that they could not finish it!! All the food was great and the salsa was some of the best ever!

They did an amazing job of accommodating our 30+ group last night last minute. Service was fast and servers were attentive. Food was amazing.

Omg this calldo de res is absolutely delicious. Thomas plate taste just as good. Get out and get your grub on.

I go here to get breakfast tacos after I work out. Just pull your car up front, a kind man will greet you and take your order. Ask for salsa Verde! Yummy!

When heading to Bastrop Basin RV Resort I always stop at Jalisco's to get menu items easy to refrigerate and reheat the whole weekend at the lake, these are special treat snacks. When visiting family in Bastrop and deciding where to go for lunch or dinner, my hand is first up and I'm suggesting Jalisco's, it's always a winner. And, The Price Is Right! I dine in and take out. I do Lunch and dinner

My all time favorite place to eat over all the experiences are always the best and they treat me great and always serve fresh delicious food !!

First time since the pandemic started, and Jalisco's going strong. I had Migas, and it was great. Also the salsa was fresh with fresh cilantro, onions, etc. Same crispy chips, and service was tops.

I love this restaurant! Great place for good food and fast service. We go almost every weekend. Wait staff is on point and food portions are perfect.

Been here twice, so far I do not have anything bad to say. Service is good and their breakfast is good, sweet tea is perfect!

Some of the best Tex-mex I’ve had, and I eat it a lot. Their chips and salsa are exactly how I like them too. I could eat them everyday. 👍

Amazing experience! We ordered the number 44 and it was a burrito smothered in melted cheese and finished it. Service was quick! I will be eating here every day for the rest of my life!!

A very family oriented restaurant. Great food, and service too. Very friendly and customers appeared to be locals (Bastrop, Texas). We ate here many years ago and it's still great. Consistent too. Some places, it's different from the last time you were there. I had Barbacoa w/Eggs. Good chips, salsa and the green sauce was primo. Thx again.

Great service and food... Nachos were plenty and the fried ice cream was delicious!

If you are in or near Bastrop, Jalisco is the restaurant for authentic Mexican food.

The servers know the menu well enough if you order by number, they tell you the title of your dish. This is not your run-of-the-mill one meat restaurant.

The fajita meat tastes like and is seasoned like fajitas regardless of the dish into which it goes. The gravies and sauces are wonderful.

The tamales are fresh and tender. The tortillas did not come out of plastic wrap. The guacamole tastes good on a spoon.

The deserts are served on an elegant plate the way you would expect at a five-star French restaurant. The menu holds a full width of traditional non-alcoholic and alcoholic Mexican drinks, not just premixed margaritas, Corona and Dos XX. For true Southern Americans, the sweet tea is fabulous.

The restaurant has a warm family atmosphere. You will pay less than you expect for a traditional Mexican meal.

Other than charging more for less food and not getting chips with the order always great food

Too many things to say! Food is amazing flavorful and fresh. I'm from San antonio and this place compares to good ole Mexican food there. Queso is superior. Tacos are big full and made to order. Chips are thin crispy and fresh also. Fountain drinks fizzy. Clean restrooms. Great staff. Quick service. Order ahead. But never takes long to prepare to go. Just A+ all the way around. Salsa yum 😋
