I was there on Friday the 26th and Ms Mendez she was SO HELPFUL. She answer all my questions, she requested my social and also looked up another stuff for me. She was very PROFESSIONAL AND FAST. I was in and out in 45min. I’ll recommend for y’all to visit this office.

In and out quickly. Arrived 25min prior to 9am on a Thursday and there was already a short line formed. They came out about 5min prior to 9am to break up the line into 2 categories to make it more efficient but I think this does vary on the person working that day. All of staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Went to do a marriage name change just had to show ID, marriage certificate and I had the form online printed and prefilled out but they did not use (not sure if this varies upon employee who is assisting). Quick and easy.

Can't remember names but every employee that I've had the pleasure to meet has been extremely helpful. Get there early though because after lunch you will be there for a while.

The lady helping me on window 3 on 5/25 is an absolute gem! My appointment was scheduled at 9:30 am and I was out of there but 9:38am. I had all of my documentation ready so she could do her job with ease. If you have all your paperwork the process is easy and fast! 5 stars !!!

The lady working counter 33 was super nice. I was nervous coming in but everyone made the experience easy as can be and I was done within an hour!

It's different since they fixed it up when you walk in read the sign two offices near that can help you you got to be real quiet so you can hear your. Have a blessed day

Some workers are nice some aren't their rude

It took a while, just under 2 hours. But she was so nice and friendly. It made it all worth it. She was so helpful and nice. Even to those who it wasn’t their turn. They were just confused. But she still helped them. What a great person!

Took a friend there they were very prompt when providing their service

I’m shocked on how quickly I was able to get assisted because I had the negative perception that I will be waiting hours, and that the process would be so unpleasant.

On contrary, my experiences was great. I showed up 30 minutes before opening. At opening (9:00 a.m.), they proactively assigned tickets and windows depending on the need.

I was in and out in 23 minutes, and mostly because the system was laggy on their end. The person who helped me was so friendly, pleasant, and kind. I hope she gets a promotion!

Thank you to the supervisory team at this location that makes processes flow so proficiency.

In and out in 30 minutes. The staff was polite and helpful. The facility was clean, and there was plenty of parking.

Word of Caution: they DO NOT recognize or accept Power of Attorney documents. You have to use their applications/forms to request documents (e.g., benefit letters) OR have the person you’re helping be present in-person with you.

Just got married so i went in for my
name change. No appointment needed. Got there 10 minutes before opening and was out by 9:30 a.m.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I do recommend printing and filling out the forms needed prior to going to help it go a little more smoothly.

not sure why this place got 2.7 stars but my experience was 5+ stars. first of all this was the only location that picked up my call and scheduled me for an appointment. then i had appointment at 10 and came 20 mins prior to the appointment time. as soon as i stood at the door the security guys helped me and told me to wait until i get called. i thought i was gonna wait for a while but i got called at 9:50 even earlier than my appointment. the gentleman who helped me was so nice and helpful. i really appreciate their service and thought i should give this place a review to boost the rating up.

We were here today and the service was good. We spent about an hour to get a proof of income letter. It was fast, and the lady in the window 12 was really kind and helpful.

Best SSA office. None of the other SSA offices in San Antonio were able to book me an appointment. In this office was fast to get the appointment; you just should follow up your request and they will help you. The security guys are so kind and are able to help you with such a great attitude!

I was dragging my feet coming here just because I was anticipating a long miserable wait. I made sure I researched online to bring the right documents and pre-fill my the form I needed. Me and my wife decided to do a name change together. We made no appointments. It was a good size building. It's clean, secure, and has a sign in kiosk which made it easier. They have so many reps available. Before you know it, we were done in 20 minutes. Customer service is great and the staff are professionals.

The gentleman who helped me was very professional and took the time to explain everything in detail. I felt better about my SSD application for benefits.
