Lions Club Thrift Shop

I have made some good finds here! Love seeing the little dog when we come to visit, too. Last time I was here, a very nice gentleman offered to help us drive a piece to our home. You can’t get that kind of service just anywhere.

Nice thrift store without the Austin overpriced items. I donate there a lot, it’s for a good cause for the children. Plus it’s a bonus being helped by Gilda and her cheerful attitude.

You never know what you'll find in here. The store is clean, well organized, and I can find a treasure almost any time I visit. The book section is really good. I'm a local, and I appreciate the way this organization gives back to the community. It's also a great place to donate your gently used things that you no longer need.

I visited just to see how the books were, and it was organized well and you can't beat the prices. Will definitely be coming back. They have these good reusable bags that they put what you bought into.

Some good bargains here. Be sure to find out their hours though they aren’t open all the time. Great place to donate your unwanted items. The book section is very impressive and they are a bargain.

Not the neatest thrift store but you will not beat the prices on clothes! Beats Goodwill by a mile! There are really nice clothes if you take the time to look through! I almost exclusively thrift store shop for clothes here at this point.

What a fun place! One can always find something here. You may think you don’t need a thing, just a quick look...then there it is! A gem 💎 you’ve always wanted but could never find! They have so many things from kitchen gadgets to upscale evening attire! Whatever occasion it may be they will have it! Fabulous, fun jewelry too pick through, all kinds of 🎩 . Think creative and you can find some great yard art. Did somebody say Christmas? OMG!!! Check it out, you will be amazed! The best thing of all....their proceeds go back to the community! They support Children’s Advocacy, Elgin Food Pantry, Elgin High School Scholarships ($10,000/year), Family Crisis Center to name JUST A FEW! Hats off to the Elgin Thrift Shop! Don’t have a hat? I know where you can find one!!!! 🤔

Great. Quite and gives me space. I dont like a whole lot of checking in on me while I shop. I can focus on me and what I need. Clean and well put together.

Great selections, great service and great prices. My granddaughter loves the book room. We will be coming back.
