Awesome customer service. We needed a U haul truck rental last minute because our first reservation with Budget trucks was cancelled. You guys were awesome and got us a truck last minute. Good feed and general store. We get most of our poultry fed and supplies here and they usually have the incidental "while I'm in town" type of goods; fence supplies, guns & ammo, tools, veterinary supplies. The also carry some nice yard art, porch swings, and a lot of things you might have been wanting. What you would expect from a general store in a clean, modern store. Convenient loading dock, ample parking without having to walk a long way. If you haven't been, you should stop by and see. Friendly local folks, helpful employees that you don't have to go looking for.

Staff is kind and helpful. The General Store has ample selection in everything from guns/ammo, to pet, gardening, and ranch supplies.

During the great freeze of 'ought 12, we were able to buy propane here when everyone else was out. They always have your farm to house needs, and even in the ammo shortage times had single box sales. always come here to trade huntin' stories with the owner and get the latest intel on hog movements.

If I can purchase what I need from this Elgin store, I do. I am continually impressed by the polite, knowledgeable owner and staff, and have never been rushed, even if I have multiple questions. The only time I will go elsewhere is when I need round bales delivered for my horses, and as this store does not deliver, I purchase those from my neighbor. Bravo to an Elgin gem.

Love this feed store! They have great feed and lots of other stuff for farm and pets. Also, all the people who work there are so nice! I highly recommend the Elgin General Store.

Very friendly staff always have the products that you need and lot more other products to help you with your animals and other farming needs love the store and it's very clean if you need help with your farming supplies that is the place to go
