Very very satisfied! The best pasta I’ve had in a very long time! The garlic knots are amazing. I got the pasta primavera with shrimp added. The sauce was so flavorful. service was great, very kind waitress and we got our food and appetizers so quick. Thanks for a great night!

Best Italian restaurant!!! I recently moved here and did not realize there's a small town shopping area. My wife wanted to surprise me with Italian food because she knows I love Italian food. Everything is made from scratch. From the noodles, to the sauce! I had the Tortellini Modo Mio Chicken, my wife had the Salmon Piccata. The Tortellini melts in your mouth! The broth was cool to perfection! My wife loved her pasta, Salmon wasn't fishy and the Capers tasted amazing!! But the bread was a great starter, it tasted like garlic bread! It's hand rolled and homemade, the cheese sticks are a must!! Breaded to perfection and the cheese pull is perfect. I love just up the street, going back to try the pizza!

The owners are lovely people, and so welcoming.

I love coming here because the dishes are made to order. Every dish I've eaten has been on point, from the Chicken Alfredo to the Pizza. Special requests are no problem.

Every meal I've had has been flavorful and served piping hot. Love the house made rolls. The spinach soup is sooo good and hearty! I'm a fan.

Owner is a wonderful man. Pleasant and informative. My meat Stromboli was perfect! The Alfredo sauce on my husband's pasta was the best we have ever tasted. What a gem hidden in downtown Elgin. Their desserts hit the sweet tooth 😋

There is something very special about the food here.

We got there and were able to get a booth before the dinner rush set it. The mood is so intimate and relaxed it really lets you focus on enjoying the meal. Whole restaurant was spotlessly clean, it’s clear to see everything gets wiped down often and throughly.
Service was fast, friendly, and orders were taken down perfectly the first time. Handled lots of to go orders and entrees still came out exceptionally fast.
Each dish has a part of it that demonstrates great care. The pasta and filling on the lobster ravioli were good, and they were cooked with the upmost care, but the sauce stole the show. Creamy with a touch of acidity, and a savory buttery fish flavor that was a celebration of the dish.
The pastry inside tiramisu was still crisp while the rest was firm and creamy.

Such a gem!! We will order here every time we are in town. It's a family run restaurant with delicious food. We have several different pizzas and the Greek salad. All of it was delicious and fresh.

We were greeted as soon as we entered. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. My son, who never eats anything new, tried and loved everything we were served. We will definitely return.

We stopped in here while passing through Elgin. We are very glad that we did. The food here was amazing (very authentic Italian food). If you like Italian, you must go here!

My Italian wife and I were taking a listing in Elgin and decided to drop in. The food was beyond wonderful. You will love it.

The two Owners are amazing and personable. Food is always fresh and on point. You have you order the alla pana sauce and dip the bread in!

Loved the stuffed mushrooms.. omg the best! Pizza was fantastic! Definitely enjoyed our dinner and the service was fast! Will definitely be back again, thanks Luigi’s Team!

It was absolutely amazing!! New owner (original owner) and food was great! Service was perfect (by the owner himself). Will definitely be a returning customer.

Really is incredible Italian food. Family owned and operated. Great service.

We were really impressed with our meal. I had the cheese ravioli and my partner had lasagna. The pasta dishes come with delicious olive oil and garlic round toasts. The salad was okay. I think we could have ordered 2 side salads instead of the one salad to share. It might be a better deal. The house dressing has a nice tang and was very good. Next time, we might dine in instead of take out. The restaurant is quaint and appears to be owned and run by a family. It feels better to support local businesses. They do have lunch specials, as well. Thank you, Luigi's!
