Forest Family Dentistry is the best dentist I have ever been to! They are kind, considerate and incredibly good at their profession. You will not be disappointed in any way.

Amazing service! Friendly and understanding! As it was a bit of an emergency I got an appointment very fast and even got called when earlier time slots opened! As this was my first experience going through insurance, everything was explained and the costs were discussed upfront! Amazing team!

Full disclosure, I work at Forest Family Dentistry and I have worked in dentistry for more than 3 decades. That being said, I am also a busy working mother who often forgets to prioritize my own dental care.
Today I had my first dental cleaning at Forest Family. I have to admit, I was anxious because it’s been a few years since I had a cleaning.
Brenda was my hygienist, she was thorough but very gentle. Lisbeth did a fantastic job with my X-rays and my dental scan. Dr Bethell did a great job helping me identify the causes of my gum recession.
Not only did I have an amazing experience, I got to interact with my team as our patients do, and I was thoroughly impressed.

Comfortable & clean setting in waiting room & exam areas. I appreciate the isolated exterior surrounding of the shopping center at the dental office entrance. All elements help minimize anxiety around dental appointments. All staff that my husband and I encountered were kind & contributed to a safe, comfortable environment.

Dr Bethell is extremely welcoming, makes you feel right at home. As an adult getting your teeth fixed is a bit intimidating. Been with forest family from start to finish. I would fly from Manhattan to Austin, just to keep working with his team. Grateful to be back in austin to maintain my teeth regularly. If you live in the area, you wont find anyone better.

I hadn’t been to see a dentist in quite some time. The last experience I had was mediocre at best but this place redeemed what I thought was the typical dentist experience. Everyone was very helpful, gracious and positive. And the staff was knowledgeable and very thorough. Shout out to Josh for the great deep cleaning today! Crazy to say I look forward to seeing them again soon because who usually loves going to the dentist! Thank you so much Forest Family Dental. Happy to be a part of the family. Cheers!

I have been a patient at Forest Family Dentistry for about 11 years and it has and continues to be, an outstanding example of professional dentistry and caring staff beginning at the front desk.

At a recent appointment, Dr. Bethell and his dental assistants Layla and Lauren demonstrated the excellence of their professions when they went the extra mile to address an issue I had with a 40+ year old crown.

It was discovered to be loose during a consultation and cleaning appointment and Dr. Bethell was kind enough to work on the crown at an additional appointment later the same day. Throughout the process, everyone was so kind, caring, and professional.

I will always use Forest Family Dentistry and highly recommend their services to everyone I know.

Had a great first experience! Everyone was so nice and helpful! I needed to charge my work computer while I was in the office and the front desk let me keep it behind their desk while I was being seen. Dr. Garcia was super nice and thorough. She answered any and all questions, even about simple things I had questions about. So glad I found a dentistry that I feel like one of the family members and not “just another mouth.”

Forest Family is such a wonderful dentistry! Dr. Hegwood was incredibly kind and informative, she took her time answering all my questions and did a very thorough checkup. I recommend them to anybody looking for a new dentist in Austin!

I do not love going to the dentist. The sound of scraping triggers me and my jaw hurts after just two seconds. But Norma was very gentle and quick! Probably my least painful trip to the dentist ever.

First time visit at FFD! Everyone was kind and explained everything to me regarding procedures and pricing. I had to call for walking directions since the office is kind of in a maze of a shopping area and I did get a little lost. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.

The staff are all very kind, courteous, and professional. I’ve gotten cleanings here for multiple years now and they’ve put in a crown for me which I’ve had no problems with. Best of all, they allow me to fill out all the forms online before I show up. I just walk in the door, tell them my name, and sit down and wait to be called. It doesn’t get any better than that.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Helmick and their staff. They were incredibly gentle and made me feel at ease throughout the entire appointment. Their expertise and caring approach truly set them apart. I highly recommend this dentist for anyone seeking a comfortable and professional dental experience.

Today I had my new patient appointment for dental cleaning. The front office staff was friendly and the office was nice and tidy. The dental hygienist pulled me back within 5 min of arriving and was very kind and patient while taking my X-rays and polishing my teeth. I was able to watch tv while getting my teeth clean and it helped ease my anxiety. The doctor came in and was professional and kind while doing my exam. I highly recommend anyone to Forest Family Dentistry- it’s definitely top on the charts for dental health in the Austin area.

These are the nicest people ever! They always make me feel so comfortable and never pressure me into doing anything I don’t want to. I always leave with a smile.
