Melva is truly a godsend. She restored my confidence and outlook on life. It’s so important as women of color we lead by example because we never know who is watching or admiring us. Although I don’t seek validation from others, sometimes another successful woman can inspire you and motivate you to be your best and that is what Melva does. She is now my new hairstylist and her work is unbelievable! My hair was matted, tangled bad but she made my hair look like it was never dry and damaged! Just amazing! 🤩 Thank you Melva!

Melva is both knowledgeable and personable. The new location is spacious and beautifully decorated. Melva is professional and carefully designs a plan to meet each customers specific goals. I've been shedding long strands for years and she was able to immediately address the external problem and advised internal changes I need to make to address the hair loss.

Just moved here from Michigan to Irving Texas and found this hair salon. Melva was my hair stylist and she was professional, down to earth and knowledgeable about hair. She did an Amazing job on my hair, it looked healthy and beautiful when she was finished. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back.

I'm a regular customer for the past 3+year. First and foremost Melva has gotten my hair the healthiest it's ever ever been! I'm impressed with the customer service I've received but I'm most impressed at the sew in she does on my weave. People are shocked when I explain that my hair is a weave it is the most natural weave I have ever had! I drive over an hour to come to Melva and it's worth it every time. I don't write reviews but people need to know that something special is more than just a name! A MUST TRY!!!!!!!!!

Melva and her team run an amazing styling salon! She takes care of my hair needs as well as my aunt, grandmother, and child. You receive luxury service in a professional comfortable environment! Melva and her team of ladies take great pride in growing your hair, and meeting all your hair needs. They are all completely honest about what you need and what will look best on you. I have posted a picture of my daughters hair growth along with the review for you all to see how Melva's products actually work! I only use the products the the owner herself has made. I was long over due for a fresh cut , my ends were dead and I needed something to boost finally, I'm almost 3 months postpartum and I hadn't had my hair trimmed or cut since New Year's Eve 😱. I have a hard time trusting hair stylists because iv had a hand full of terrible cuts but Mel took care of me! I'm so beyond happy with this cut and Style , my hair feels amazing and it gave me a little spunk back. Thank you! I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a trust worthy and very experienced hair stylists you will leave happy.

I came in without an appointment. I was planning to spend at least 1 hour just waiting. I met Mel and she kept me in the loop of my wait time and gave me the option to stay or leave. I stayed. I waiting about 30 minutes total. She cut my hair and washed and styled it exactly how I wanted it. She was very thorough and told me everything that she was doing to my hair. I will definitely be making this my hair home. I will be bring my daughter as well.

This was my first time going to this salon. Melva was very professional, and knew about all the products. One thing that i really liked about the stylist... is that she specializes in healthy hair- I am very satisfied with this Salon /Stylist and will make this my permnant " go to place".-Alisha
