Fatima's Salon Braids & Weaves

I'm so excited to do this review, because my daughter wanted her some small individual braids, and she was very nervous with this being her first time here. She got there everyone was super nice, professional, and didn't waste time getting started on her braids. The young ladies that did her braids we're named Mona, Wilma, and Fama together it only took them 4 1/2 hour's the price was responsible $270 for the len6my daughter got. If you are looking to get your braids done, PLEASE STOP BY... 😆

This was Kari’s very FIRST experience at any salon!! My 9 year old, She did not cry , they were very gentle and made sure she was good throughout, even asked her if she needed a break. I absolutely LOVE Fatima! 🥰🥰 Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for my braiding needs for 2 years. 99 percent of the time, my hair experience is rating a 5 star. This last visit, I had a new person in my hair and it took an extra 2 hours in the chair. Idk, maybe she was new at braiding. I’m usually in and out in 2.5 hours. This particular time, I got there at 11:40 and left at 4:40. My normal braided wasn’t there. Overall, I love this place and will be back. Hopefully my normal braided Noni is back..

My First time here and it was just a touch up in the front and Willamena (I hope I spelled her name right) did an amazing job. I showed her the picture and she delivered I will always ask for her when I return

The ladies have always done a fantastic job. Their rates are reasonable as well as scheduling at the last minute.

My braids are beautiful and I was out in 3 hours . I got but length knotless braids for less than $300 !

I read some of the reviews on this place, and I must say I didn’t have any of those experiences today. I walked in and was immediately Greeted by Dianna. She was very nice, she asked how I wanted my hair, I told her and she definitely delivered! She started at 9am and was done at 12:30! My hair looks great! I got many compliments when I left! The owner Mona is very pleasant, she didn’t have an attitude as others have stated. She spoke to everyone in the shop when she came in. I would recommend anyone to go for themselves and get their own opinion! As for me I will definitely recommend my friends and family to this shop!

I love the owner. She is sweet kind and considerate of if your tender headed. She makes a way for you not to have a long wait and she is always smiling. There are multiple braided and almost every style I saw I loved. This was not my first visit and it won't be my last.

Professional environment and they do great work!
If you let them know exactly how you want it, they will accommodate you. I take my daughter all the time for box braids, and they are always careful with her edges. I have gotten Senegalese twists and crochet braids as well, and I have always been happy with the results. Highly recommended!

We love our braids!! I was kind of nervous because I read a lot about hairbraiding being too tight and edges coming out, but the ladies who worked on our heads did a great job! It was a very busy Saturday, but We got them done at the same time and was in and out in less than 5hrs. No wait time. I attached a picture of both of our hair so you can see how good they look for yourself :) Thank You ladies and we will be back!!

I have been going to Fatima’s a little over ten years and have always received great service. Over the years I’ve went from getting braids and extension services to receiving loc maintenance
services.
No one is perfect but I love the fact that Mona cares about her clients and does her best to ensure that they leave with a smile. I returned today to get my interlocs retightened and I left extremely happy and the lady that does my hair ( it starts with an R I don’t want to mess her name up lol ) is always so sweet and gentle with my hair. I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Excellent! This women are very professional and fast. This is the best braiding experience I have ever had. My box braids took two hours, with three braiders, and one person came over at the end to assist. The owner was very patience in helping me decide what style would be best. She even told me which type of hair would be best suited for my braids. I will be taking my daughter here.

My hair is always on point when I leave Ms.Mona salon. I don’t believe I have ever sat in the chair longer than four hours. I was referred by my aunt and anytime my daughter and I need braids we swing by this shop first. Now the ladies aren’t all smiles and giggles but they do respect the customers. The photo at the bottom is their work. Oh and my head does not hurt when I leave and the braids are still tight so that’s a plus

If you want good hair braiding, go to Fatima's. All of the braiders in the shop produce exceptional and quality work. It also lasts a long time. I would recommend anyone to get their hair braided there. As a matter of fact, I did. I referred 4 people and they were VERY happy with the results. The prices are reasonable too.

Got my hair braided in tribal braids 3 layer. They were so nice and sweet. My braids are the best I have ever had. Definitely recommend ! She did them exactly like the picture. I do not get braids but if I do I will go to Fatimas salon. My pictures in the orange shirt. The other picture of the girl in camouflage was how I wanted it. And they delivered it.

Loved the results of my visit at Fatima's hair salon, staff was so very professional and friendly. This salon is so one of a kind,it doesn't matter what hair style you want they can produce whatever you want or desire in hair styling (braids, 🌽 rows,flat-twist,etc ) if it's Natural hair styling they "Got Your Back" .

I love Fatima's! I will pass up all of the braidshops in my area to travel to Irving. The braiders are the fastest that I've seen and the quality is always good. They don't just take your money they will give your their honest opinion about a style. When my hair was very short, she told me the braids would fall out and wouldn't braid my hair. I didn't believe them and went somewhere else and all the braids fell out in less than a month. I should've listened to the braiders at Fatima's. They also take credit/debit cards unlike other braid shops which is a plus. The price doesn't change once you're in the chair either.
