The Gents Place Uptown Dallas

The service at the Gents Place is fantastic. I had a stylist (Cate) who doesn't regularly cut my hair, but my long time stylist (Ranata) left detailed notes so I didn't have to explain how she usually cuts my hair. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend becoming a subscription member.

Gent’s Place - Uptown has a great environment and excellent service. Scheduling is very easy and the stylists are all very talented. Kate has cut my hair for a year now and I always get a consistent cut and pleasant conversation. Would definitely recommend investing in their packages, because once you’ve had the experience the other places simply don’t compare.

Been coming to the gents place since 2016. Moved out of Dallas for a bit and upon moving back, was glad to renew my membership. All the stylists are great, my personal go to is Ranata. Amazing! Ava at the front desk is also amazing! However the The best part is the tickle tickle! #iykyk

Loved this place. Took hubs there and now this is a requirement for getting his head shaved. We were greeted warmly, offered something to drink promptly and he was taken back at his appointment time. The waiting area smelled amazing and was warm and inviting. He was throughlying impressed with everything and is already making his his appointment. Definitely worth checking out!

Whiskey while I wait? Free shoeshine? Guest passes? Bought a membership. I’m the guy who always gets a haircut when it’s obviously overdue. They scheduled an appointment for me and sent it to my calendar. Love the atmosphere, I could hang out here with my friends. Literally. Members can reserve the lounge. Also ask about their project for veterans.

Meagans customer service and skill was amazing, my hair looks fantastic. Also Meagan was very gentle, im used to people pushing so hard on my head that it hurts so I definitely appreciate the gentleness. Definitely will be back!

Love this place. Who doesn’t love relaxing with a nice drink before a haircut? Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Check out the subscription services, totally worth it.

This place is phenomenal! They are the example of world class customer service with regards to both their front desk, management, and operations folks, along with the BEST barbers / specialist! They are all simply AMAZING! This was the greatest experience for my family. I had gifted both my nephew and Daddy with a day at this spa! This simply meant the WORLD to them! Thank you for making this such a priceless and amazing day!

Amazing services, 2 complimentary drinks/ beer along with a free shoe shine. I simply loved the experience. You do have to schedule an appointment in advance since they are busy. People here speak politely. There is a special vault as well for premium members to keep their personal drinks as well, at the same time you can watch Netflix and Hulu on TV. All with this there is also an option of haircut in a private room with a personal stylist. I am not sure of the charges at time of writing this review. Will update it soon.

The Gent's Place Uptown is what a barbershop should be today. Welcoming environment, upscale interior, great customer service, and above all, excellent no nonsense barbers!

Plus, they do more than just haircuts! I’ve been very pleased with the beard trim and straight edge razor services. The straight edge services are an unforgettable experience that I guarantee not only you will love, but also your significant other. They have many other services available that satisfy a variety of needs, depending on the type of man you are. The staff here is incredible! The front desk is always professional and courteous, and do a great job of making me feel welcome and comfortable. I also love the ability to call/text them to schedule or make changes to my appointments. Kevin is my favorite stylist - he is simply the best! He does an incredible job every time I come in and gives me a consistent look that I don’t have to worry about changing. I love that he really listens to what I’m looking to do with my hair or beard, and then follows through and blowing my mind every time. He is professional, understanding, polite, and most of all really easy to have a conversation with (without it feeling like small talk). I feel valued in that we have meaningful conversations each month and that he remembers what is going on in my personal life. I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to build a relationship with him since he started providing my services each month. I would recommend Kevin at The Gents Place to anyone looking for a service that makes people say, “Wow, that looks good!”

A full service barbershop that caters to men exclusively. The bar is open to customers getting a haircut. It's the most interesting and comfortable barbershop in Dallas.

Great atmosphere and staff .. Andrienne G was the best … gave me options and ideas for a color and cut .. left totally satisfied ! Will be back !

Definitely one of the best near Downtown, my old barbershop closed and I'm very happy with their whole service and the transition.

The 5 course treatment thing is probably the best bang for buck and buying an annual subscription makes sense kindof.

Wish it was slightly cheaper, I'm not seeing them run any promotions like they used to. Overall still good.

I much better experience than your typical barbershop. Cocktails and beers available, they also have a nice stock of some luxury shave items, Marcos toothpaste, creed colognes etc. I started coming here because my barbershop stopped shining shoes, this place does that and everything else you need. They do nails and stuff too. Basically a one stop shop.
