Molina Healthcare of Texas

Molina is great with providing rides to doctors and pharmacy visits. Plus they approved my home healthcare fast! Love this company and highly recommend.

I want to make clear I am only reviewing two people who apparently work in the service coordination area. One is named Damien and the other is Mr Gilbert. Yesterday these two gentlemen helped me with a severe problem having to do with my home health care company. I would not give the overall company a five star. I do however give these two gentlemen of five star rating. They were efficient, polite, knowledgeable and extraordinarily helpful. I was so angry when I called I was in tears. They were both very calm and helped me get everything accomplished that I needed to do. Damien was the first one I talked to and he was amazing. Soft spoken, and very comforting, he made me feel very comfortable and telling him everything that went on. He is an asset to your company. At some point he switched me over to a man named Mr Gilbert who had to continue with the situation. He also spoke to me very professionally I'm very kind. They accomplished everything I needed to get done. I was very impressed with both of these men, their knowledge of their job and knowing exactly how to help me. Both men are an asset to your company. Please extend a thank you to both as I appreciate employees who take their job seriously and treat people with dignity and respect. Thank you

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting the splendid service I received, given the earlier ratings. However, I was in for pleasant surprises throughout. I was well-received, kept informed of changes in shift, my case transferred well from outgoing to incoming receptionist, and an employee appeared in no time to help. He took diligent notes of what I had to say and emailed the concerned department before we ended the meeting. He gave a case number to track, called the next day to apprise me of the progress. He mentioned on the call to expect payment within 4-5 business days but the amount was in my account within the next 2 days! Under promise and over deliver - I like that combination!

I have used Molina for 5 years now. I had Molina in Utah, and when I moved to Texas, I was thrilled they offered Molina Marketplace here as well. I have had no trouble getting providers, coverage, or prescriptions. I have had several unorthodoxed, brand new treatments that other insurances are not paying for (as told to me by fellow patients who are paying out of pocket), that Molina has gladly paid for my treatment, with only a pre-authorization and a little patience on my part. All in all I LOOK for Molina at the health insurance marketplace each year, and will continue to do so, as they are by and far my favorite health care provider for the money.

Well I may be the only one - but I thought they were very nice when I called. And unlike BCBS, I didn't have to wait on hold for 30 minutes before talking to a real person! Now, ask me in 6 months if the insurance is worth it, but I'm giving 5 stars for now :)

I been with molina for over 20 years and love there services and i left 1 time and am never leaving again everything they do is wonderfull so to anybody want there services you love molina they are great thank u molina for the services

When speaking to an agent i was very pleased
Am not sure what all Molina covers,But as soon as i say Molina we don't take or they don't excerpt that ins. So for i have no problem with an agent,So i decided to give them a call so for all is ok.

I'm sorry to see all the horrible reviews. I personally haven't had any major problems with MHC of Texas and lucky in that sense. My PCPs were both (I've had 2) in close proximity, although my Endocrinologist was about 45 minutes away. A past surgery, hospital stay and home health back in 2017 was promptly paid (their share). Facilities were close. Bloodwork? Paid their share and close. Xrays on a broken foot/ultrasound on kidney function? Paid their share and close proximity.

I'm diabetic and currently on insulin, oral medication and bp meds. My copay on thousands of dollars worth of scrips? Dollars. My Endo is probably THE best Doctor I've ever had. She truly cares. If not for her and MHC covering what they do, I wouldn't be here. Fact. Her bills? Promptly paid minus my specialist copay. I am very grateful.

All in all, I have to say that Molina has been very good to me and that's so appreciated. For those who haven't been so lucky, I wish you the best.
