Dallas Marriott Downtown

I traveled here for business, and the location allowed a comfortable walk to an from our meetings, which was appreciated. The hotel lobby, bar and common areas are all well maintained and very modern. The room itself, was spacious and comfortable enough. The bed was nice, and the pillows magnificent. I had a problem with my bathroom sink not draining, but upon reporting to the front desk, it was repaired before I could even finish a smoke and a coffee and head back upstairs!
My only complaint is about the desk, the material it is made of does not work with an optical mouse!!! I didn't bring my mouse pad, so I had to find a sheet of paper to make it work. So, helpful tip.. bring a mouse pad!!

I have not stayed at this particular Marriott yet but will not stay anywhere else when I visit Dallas in the future.
I was supposed to attend a conference in Dallas and had booked a room with Marriott, long story short, I had some chaotic things happen with my job and travel plans and these folks took exceptional care of me without hesitation. Joshua was my point of contact and was so kind and understanding over the phone while I was on the point of a breakdown lol
I don’t know who does the hiring for this place but they nailed it with this guy.
I am now a Dallas Marriott Downtown customer for life.

I always have a great experience at this location. I often travel to Dallas for work and the front desk staff is extremely helpful in recommendations and care. They were especially patient today (2/20) as we navigated some difficultly dining my booking due to a name issue. Highly recommend.

This is the best downtown hotel for family staycation. The hotel location is great. The room beds are comfortable that is better than JW Marriott. Service is always great. We love to stay at this hotel whenever we want to explore some activities around downtown. Love the Sunday morning buffet that will open from 6:30 am till noon. This is perfect for our two lazy kids who won’t get up after 10 am on Sunday and we still won’t miss the breakfast. Thank you for the special fruit tray treat during our stay this time. It made the trip even more enjoyable.

Excellent service, excellent fitness center, public areas and room very clean—nothing to complain about at the Dallas Marriott. I’d go for 4.5 stars if possible only for the elevators (not their function, their appearance)—which don’t match the luxury of the rest of the property. To the management: suggest an elevator remodel, the 1970’s fake wood vibe isn’t working (in my humble opinion).

Stay here for downtown Dallas!!! Do not stay at the JW Marriott it is a complete joke. The staff is horrible, the executive lounge is a complete joke. The coffee shop is barely open and has horrible horrible, horrible coffee. Stay away from the JW Marriott, and stay at the Marriott downtown. It is way better.

A gentleman went above and beyond to assist me today. He also wrote down the directions to the nearest mall for us. I didn’t get his name but he said it was his first day today. Customer service was top tier!

Great place. I wish there were more to do in the Plaza. It would be beautiful if the parking lot across from the hotel were converted to a nice park

The staff was very kind, and helpful. The price was a lot cheaper then the surrounding hotels.

I love staying here when I’m in town. I love to see the beauty of the rainbows produced by the overhead prisms in the mall outside my window.

I posted the exercise room pics because the website only has one, and it makes the room look small. It is actually a very nice room with machines for every body part, and it has free weights. The handicap room is very spacious so a wheelchair can turn easily, and the bathroom is very accessible with a great shower. The room has a small refrigerator and a coffee maker, but it doesn't have a microwave. You have to use the microwave in the check-in convenience store room.

The food at the hotel bar was A1 breakfast and dinner. The eggs could’ve used a little love lol but the service with Keshawn and the other tall Hispanic guy made it all come together. 🤎🤎

Ordinary Marriott; except, it has one of the best Marriott Lounges I have seen anywhere in the world. The rooms are also remodeled.

Very clean and well kept property with excellent customer service. The restaurant was decent but not the greatest food. We enjoyed our room with a lovely view of the city and within a short walking distance to great food options.

Had a wonderful experience with this Hotel, both of the Gentleman at Valet Parking were wonderful and went out their way to be helpful . I came in on a Sunday evening to go see my Cancer doctor at Baylor Monday morning , my car was out front and ready . Every employee of the hotel went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable. Going back to Dallas for Surgery and staying there again the night before .

I will definitely be back. I slept well. I was taken care of very well. I was supplied with everything I needed in my room. The breakfast is great. The bartenders are courteous. Also the bartenders are all beautiful, handsome, and great people skills. I truly enjoyed myself, and yes the valet do there thing fa sho!

The hotel is conveniently located downtown and within a pretty comfortable walking distance of the aquarium and the Perot museum and science center. It has direct access into the plaza of America's where you can find maybe a dozen different places to eat in the food court for a quick meal with multiple coffee shops included.

As a Bonvoy Platinum+ member I had access to the M lounge on the 16th floor which served breakfast in the mornings, light snacks and drinks available all day, as well as hors d'oeuvres in the evening. It was incredibly convenient to be able to slide in and grab a soda at any time and would be worth paying extra for the access if you aren't a Bonvoy member.

We were upgraded to a deluxe suite. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rooms were clean, AC was ice cold, and the shower was HUGE and very well maintained. I will happily stay again on my next visit.
