The Red Oak Bakery

I just love this place. Definitely the best place in town for gluten free pastries! They are always so friendly and i have never had anything here that I didn’t like. My favorite? The scones and the quick bread... for sure!

So happy a friend asked me to come out for a meetup. The lemon bar was delicious. Brought home a strawberry bar. Amazing. Would have never known it was gluten free. Even got to sample the bread. Will definitely be back.

This place has the most amazing gluten free bread and goodies made fresh and local. Those with celiac, especially, this company is a godsend. Such a blessing. So happy we found them and their amazing products. These products are so delicious, they are NOT just for people who need gluten free, they are for anyone and everyone who wants delicious breads and treats.

Red Oak is the best gluten free bakery I've ever been to. They made the Groom's cake for my daughters wedding several years ago & it was hands down the best cake of any kind that I've ever put in my mouth. It was the chocolate salted carmel cake. Absolutely delicious. They have a lot of other great cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. Even if you don't have to eat gluten free it's still great.

I didn’t realize this bakery was gluten free until I arrived. I’d tried very few gluten free sweets prior to this, and I was never very impressed with the times I had. This bakeries pastries and blueberry breakfast scone I tried where better than any bakery’s that I’d been to in recent memory.

At this point I’m not going to switch to a gluten free diet, but I can say I became a believer and loyal customer to The Red Oak Bakery as soon as I consumed the first bite.

This is still my go to place to have a nice gluten free baked good that I can trust. The lovely owners are so kind and have tons of options. Worth the drive if you live far away but call ahead to make sure they have what you are looking for. They are popular!

Absolutely delicious gluten free baked goods!! I have multiple favorites and even the non-gluten free folks in my family enjoy the goodies. The hospitality and warmth are felt from the moment you enter the door. Love, love, love this place!!!

I am so glad this place is open, again! Their food is delicious, gluten free, and free of all garbage ingredients. The staff is completely lovely, as well. While the store is small, the place is beautiful and has outdoor seating. I'm particularly fond of the bacon and cheddar scones. 😍

Delicious, fresh baked goods! Everything has a wonderful texture such that you wouldn't know it's gluten-free! If you have a nut allergy, let them know so you don't get anything made with a nut flour, but most don't have any.

We have a lot of food allergies in our family (two of us have 6 of the top 8 food allergies), so out of necessity we do a good deal of cooking from scratch using specialty ingredients. It's such a luxury to have a bakery in town where we can buy a few things - and everything tastes sooo good! We appreciate that they've always worked hard to accommodate our dietary needs while using quality ingredients (which I know from first hand experience is expensive!), and yet their prices are reasonable. On top of all of that, they are kind people - so go check them out!

This is an amazing bakery. Every time I am in New Braunfels, make the trip to Red Oak Bakery and I am never disappointed. I suffer from celiac disease so I love that I can actually get whatever I want worry-free! Just for that experience alone, I am immensely grateful. What is truly exceptional though is that everything is delicious without qualification. If you have thought about stopping by, I strongly encourage you to. It is worth the trip!

My new favorite bakery! Love the feel of this place, the owners are very friendly and welcome me by name as I walk in! They have the best coffee in town and their homemade Gluten free sweets are delicious! I love the fact that they also make Fresh Bread, call to pre-order because they go fast!

This place is a gem. Like Chocolat’s shop in real life but a bakery and her name is Ruby not Vianne.

I am gluten free but every time I have brought delicious treats home and to friends they don’t ask if it’s gluten free, they ask if there is a bakery close by they can go to but thankfully New Braunfels isn’t far and would be worth the trip from anywhere.

Delicious, beautiful, thoughtful, locally sourced ingredients when available, has custom orders, And dairy free options!

Awesome goodies! Wonderful owners! So sweet and helpful, always! My daughter has celiac and this is our go to place for homemade bakery goodies for her :) We’ll be back again and again!

This bakery is great. They serve gluten free treats that taste better than anything I've made at home, they're very friendly an accommodating and have great coffee. Highly recommend stopping by!

We visited this bakery while spending the weekend with our friends. I'm gluten free and I was super happy to find a gluten free bakery. My favorites were bacon cheese scone and cinnamon brioche. So yummy

This place is amazing. Everything is gluten-free, plus there are plenty of offerings for people with other food allergies/intolerances. I've yet to try something that isn't delicious and my family sometimes makes the trip to New Braunfels just to get a pastry fix.
The rum blondie is my personal favorite, but I don't want to recommend it TOO highly, lest y'all buy them up before I get there. ;)

The gluten free food here is amazing, and you won't be disappointed with anything that you get. The desserts are always moist and taste so fresh. You can tell that they use quality ingredients for everything. I recommend anything chocolate!

Even without a gluten free diet, this place is amazing! Everyone is so nice. They have great coffee, and the pastries are simple but oozing with flavor sure to make you want to go back!

It doesn’t matter where you go, you’ll never find a better gluten free bakery than Red Oak. I’m 100% serious. I’m from Austin and I used to drive to NB just because there’s no other GF bakery that compares.
