Irving Fire Station #8

Great guys. Responded so fast when I crashed my bike and needed emergency care. Even took care of and stored my wife's and my bikes while I went to the hospital. Then after a week they were willing to bring them to our home. Good to know I can trust these guys in one of the worst moments of my life.

Went a couple days before my 15th birthday, nice crew, awesome rigs.

David Giesecke and the rest of the Firemen at Station 8 are some of the nicest people. I appreciate all they do to help protect Irving. All are very respectable people and glad they are there for us all when we really need them.

Best Station on the planet. Especially C shift, they got it going on!

The fire alarm was going off for a while only in my apartment so I decided to call the fire department along with one other tenant in the building. Upon arrival, one of the firemen very rudely asked why maintenance was not called instead. This was early in the morning when maintenance does not answer most calls and would not arrive for a very long time so calling the fire department would be the only other option, as something other than a fire could have been setting off the alarm in the apartment. Completely unacceptable behavior and very uncalled for, thank goodness it was not a real emergency.

Slowest fire station in the state by far! The station is 0.3 miles from my apartment and it always takes them hours to show up to even turn the fire alarm off. Our building alarm started going off at 1:15 am today and it is now 4:34 am and still they have not shown up. This is an ongoing problem!
