Stopped by Cypress Bend Park this morning to dip in the river and let our pup swim. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of birds and scenery. A great little park.

Very nice, clean park with areas of deeper water. Recommend bringing a canopy. There are areas of shade but nicest water spots do not have shade. Dog friendly!

Peaceful swim hole. Plenty of shade. Small rocky beaches. Crystal clear water. Rocky river bottom. Wear shoes for comfort. Shallow areas with some deeper pools. Families with children of all ages around. Had a great time with my family. Will return.

A hidden gem! Water was deep enough to swim and flowing. Kids and adult had a blast. They had park rangers making sure people complied with the rules. Beautiful and clean, definitely coming back!

The river area at the park is the perfect place. A really good friend of mine and his wife who visit this spot at least 3 times a week brought my 8 yr old daughter and I here. We both loved it. Great spot to learn or ride in a kayak for the first time and fish as well. My daughter had the opportunity to do both thanks to my buddy and his wife.
This spot is not overcrowded, not too loud, and has no hustle and bustle. Great area to sit and relax in the water or drop your kayak in and paddle down the river and back up. I'm looking forward to returning to this location because of how calm the area is.

We went to an end of the year party. A friend had rented the pavilion and we brought potluck. The kids played in the river. It's not too deep, 3 or 4 feet. It was very nice! There are restrooms.

We love this park! The jungle gym will leave you wanting but kids do have fun on it. It has a decent amount of climbing pieces for the more experienced kid climbers. The open field and the river are the main interests with a wide open area for kites and a walkway along the river that is shaded and provides some beautiful views. Theres also a reiver access point for small boats like kayaks and paddle boards as well as fishing. I wouldn't consider this an every day park for letting my kids play, but when there are events or we need to access the river it's great. It also has some amazing spots for pictures.

I take my dog here to exercise him. I do always have him on a leash, some days there are multiple dogs off leash here. That might be ok for some but my dog is not ok with all other dogs.
Other than this it is a nice place to walk your dog by the river it is full shade and quiet. There is a large open field that is mostly used by people practicing disc golf (bringing their own setup) or people playing fetch with more active breed dogs.
There is a large covered pavilion for party rentals at the other end of the park with restrooms nearby.

Peaceful and beautiful place to chill by the river. There's a lot of spots all along the park side of the Guadalupe to set up a picnic, layout &/or enjoy the water. Several people had their dogs, so it's a dog-friendly park. There is limited parking.

Great outdoor place with a possibility of fun for all ages. Whether you want to float or hang out by the water you should give it a try. There is an outdoor play area with slides and 2 swings (1 regular and 1 for little ones)
Great place for pic nic under the covered picnic area or on the grass, you can also bring your own gear for st up on the grass
Lots of parking area available with restrooms available as well

Summary: lots of parking, great picnic area, super fun play structure.

Details: with access to the river, it's hard to go wrong here. There's a small sandy beach but plenty of other places between the large shade trees to enter the water. Bathrooms, with sinks are available near the boat ramp.

This park is so beautiful! I got lost in Mother Earth :) I love to come here for a nice picnic and cool off in the water. I usually get here really early and it’s so peaceful! There’s so many spots you can choose to relax here. Theres also a huge field to play frisbee or lay in the grass and read a book. Only thing is the restrooms are weird bc the toilet seats are so high and it’s awkward but I try not to use them while there so it’s not really a problem for me. Overall such beautiful views and the trees are lovely!

Beautiful place to take the kids to the river. Free river access and easy to get to. If you go on the weekend it may be a bit busy and you'll probably have to walk a little days to get down to the river.

A quiet, and peaceful park to relax in the water. With a playground, covered picnic area, and plenty of space if you want to let your littlest ones run around it’s the perfect mini getaway.

Love this little gem in the heart of New Braunfels. On upflow of the river clean shallow water followed with little rapids and then deep water with little gravel beach. To get a good spot we needed to come early on weekends because parking cab be a problem. But still it's so peaceful in the morning

Great place to swim with little ones. Water is low due to very little rainfall. We had a great time!
