Landa Park

This is one of my favorite parks to visit. There are beautiful, big shade trees throughout, and it's lovely to walk along the river. I also enjoy seeing all the wildlife. My toller puppy, Bogart, enjoyed his first ever visit!

This park pleasantly surprised. Initially hailing from a place of remarkable beauty and awe, I was astounded upon arriving at this park with my family. The weather was ideal, with an unblemished sky. The ducks were inviting and friendly. I highly recommend this park to anyone seeking to enjoy the outdoors without venturing too far. The water is shallow, and the variety of trees is magnificent. We will undoubtedly return.

We went as a day trip during spring break. The kids had so much fun and all the activities were very inexpensive. Great spot to take the kids for putt putt golf, a train ride, paddle boating, and to play at the park. We even saw several deer roaming free on the golf course while we were driving around.

This park is amazing, full of beautiful trees with one amazing old oak tree that if it could talk would definitely tell you the whole history of the area. They have picnic tables with grills all over the park, all under a canopy of tree shade. There is a train that you can hop on for a small fee that goes all around the whole park. They have paddle boats, bountiful walking trails, and hiking trails. The park is nature at its finest. The park is definitely one of the crown jewels of New Braunfels. It is maintained immaculately, clean everywhere you look at. The hiking trail is really fun about 2 miles round trip with lots of sub trails that you can venture off of the main trail. Very serene and peaceful is the only way to describe this park. It should be a must see for anyone visiting the New Braunfels area.

What an absolutely beautiful park. The river is crystal clear and beautiful and there are lots of paved trails to walk on, clean bathrooms with toilet paper. Haha and absolute gem of Central Texas!

Landa parks has something for everyone even a miniature train that you can ride around the park.
It has wonderful paved and unpaved trails. It has beautiful places to photo. Walking along the many parts that have water and the bridges that connect this well laid out park is wonderful.
When the weather is warm I really suggest a picnic lunch near any of the many spots. Many spots have ducks floating around.
It was not busy when we went there but understand it can get a little crowded during holidays.
My GPS kept leading us in the wrong direction so watch for the clear marked signs on the posts or use the map on your phone or the old fashion paper map.
We spent several hours walking the easy trails. New Braunfels has done a great job keeping this park up. Dog are permitted if on a lease.
One thing to be aware of is the parking fees so check ahead as they do not all take money. When we went in December I called to find out they do not charge in the winter months but unless you want to electronic pay give the park a call.
I hope you give this park a visit we certainly want to return.

Beautiful park and lots of things to do with family. My kids didn't want to leave since they were having so much fun in the playgrounds. Perfect for walking and enjoying the nice view, nature and weather. I loved it. We saw lots of deers in the area too, what a wonderful day!

Beautiful place with a lot of things to do. Nice gardens with wading pools, open spaces, a load of playgrounds and an inexpensive train ride for kids. Certain parking lots and roads are restricted for cars during the weekends and holidays, which makes sense for safety reasons since there are so many people near the play area. The trails are big too. Perfect place for a jog or a day out with friends & family.

Beautiful park anytime of year. Great for families and any events.

NB is lucky to have this place! People fishing, walking, playing with their children.. couldn't ask for more.

Landa Park is Wonderful, many activities, tons of spaces to spend the day. Train ride allows your furry friends to come along .

So much to do with kids. We went for a walk, trem ride, many playgrounds, amazing views… This is a must go!!!

Love this beautiful park!! I really appreciate how they maintain the park and let the wildlife be in peace. It’s a big park that’s great for walking, bicycling etc.. Nice & plenty of picnic areas/tables. Lots of beautiful shady trees. Also just nice to sit down on a bench and let time just pass by. 😊😌 there are train rides and paddle boating available here. And good restrooms not porta potty’s.

A new found place to hang out. I love this park though a bit quiete a ways from home but I still love coming here. See you next time, Landa Park.☺

There’s so much to do at this park. Hikes, fun playgrounds for the kids, a train to ride on, water activities with the river nearby, a lot of animals to watch and plenty of spots to have a BBQ with tables to eat off on.

Love, love, love Landa park. ❤ Plenty of parking. Restrooms are clean. Lots of shade to sit or stroll. Bike and pet friendly. Playground for children. Picnic areas (most) need to be rented in advance.
