I highly recommend Car Scientist. I own a 1984 cadillac eldorado and had previously taken it to a different shop for an oil leak. They found a vacuum air leak and power steering leak. Not only did they took 2 weeks to do the repairs but when I got my car back it was not the same. If anyone has owned a cadillac then you would know how smooth these cars are. My car was shaky, rough idleling, and stalling on me. I took it back to them but my car was never the same. My car has a lot of custom work and I have invested a lot of money just to sit in my garage. It took me almost 3yrs to find someone that I would trust again with my car. When I came across Car Scientist I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting which made me feel at ease. The owner is very knowledgeable, skilled, honest and transparent at all times. I was kept up to date with the progress on my car. Pricing is fair and definitely value for money. The quality of their work is outstanding and exceeded my expectations as I'm sure it will exceed yours too. I even got a courtesy call from the owner to ensure my car was running good after I took it home. So if you are looking for a reliable mechanic that operates with integrity, Car Scientist is the shop for you!!!

I came in because I was 3 hours away from home at a friends house and my air conditioning went out. With a long drive in front of me I came in hopeful it would be fixed easily. Kieth was so sweet and got me fixed up. His staff were also very courteous and treated me like family. I HIGHLY recommend Car Scientist, they are a great group of people who do their best to make sure you have a wonderful experience and leave a smile on your face when you walk out the door.

Car Scientists is by far the ELITE auto repair shop in the Houston or Katy area.Keith the owner and also the mechanic is by far the best and most thorough,knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic I have met..I’ve been taken advantage of by other automotive repair shops who made unnecessary repairs and were way over priced..The owner’s wife and Daisy, the office managers always kept me updated and wasre always very responsive to anything that I needed..Looking for an honest and trustworthy mechanic in Katy or Houston? Possibly the best experience I've had with a mechanic. They had my issue resolved within hours. Keith was very friendly, helpful, and communicative through the whole process. I'll be coming here for all my car related concerns and recommending to friends and family.

We had an electrical problem with a headlight. The receptionist was so helpful and pleasant and connected me to Keith. This man happens to be the most considerate and trustworthy mechanic I have met in a long time. I will use them and refer my friends to them for any work! So nice to find an Honorable ,family run business- shout out to the Car Scientist !!!

Really outstanding shop! I brought my car in because the battery was dead — which was odd to me because I just bought it from Autozone two months ago. Well after running a diagnostic test Car Scientist was able to confirm the battery connections were put on incorrectly. I’m all good to go now! Thankful for their honesty and would recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable mechanic

I’m so happy the local auto store recommended Car Scientist. I’d been looking for a honest mechanic for quite some time. They are transparent, caring, & friendly which is not adjectives used to reference mechanics.

Initially when I saw all five stars I thought they were fake or the shop ask for people to give them all five stars. That is not the case by any means. I’ve never been asked to give a review or refer someone. But I will gladly do so based on my experience. Five stars is not enough for this mechanic shop. Don’t trust your car to anybody else because you will be wasting your time trying to figure out if they are legit or just trying to get more money. I guarantee you from the moment you walk in the door and speak with any employee in this establishment you will be confident they are legit and not trying to just take your money.

This place is beyond helpful with all your car needs. The lady in the front is such a sweetheart and makes you feel so welcomed. The mechanic was so HONEST and HELPFUL. They truly care about their customers. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. We will be back here for all inspections and car needs.

My normal shop wasn't available to look at my truck the day I noticed a really bad oil leak (i get my oil changes there). Took it to Car Scientist who had same day availability.
They were honest, friendly, and found the issue quickly. After finding the issue he told me that I should pick it up and take it back to the shop that did oil change, that it should be covered/warrantied by them due to time and mileage.
This shop has set expectations on family friendliness and honesty that I didn't know I could still expect. Fully recommend sending some business their way!

Wonderful experience! All the reviews were very true! Mr. Keith was super knowledgeable and explained it where we could understand... super fast service! Warm and friendly staff to greet you also. They will care for our vehicles exclusively!

I had taken my '99 Tahoe to a few other places and was always disappointed in the work. Keith and his team were extremely kind and knowledgeable. They were so friendly on the phone, and Keith took the extra time to make sure I understood what issues I was having and how he was going to repair them. I will solely be using Car Scientist for all my automotive repairs in the future. You won't be disappointed!

After seeing reviews on this establishment, and in need of a mechanic for my car, I went to see them in person to talk to the owners (family owned business) and immediately after I started to talk to them I knew I was going to give them a try. LIke some other reviews have mentioned, honesty came through the minute I started talking to them. So, I made an appointment and dropped off my C7 Corvette to have them look at a ticking noise coming from the passenger side supercharger lid. They diagnosed the problem, worth mentioning - at a much cheaper cost than McHaik Chevrolate was going to charge for the diagnosis, and were able to acurately diagnose and correct the issue the same day. I was expecting a very costly repair, due to how common these ticking noises are with Corvettes and more than likely it being a lifter problem, but Keith called me after he took it apart and was able to diagnose the issue of a burnt ignigion coil, which was only a fraction of the cost of what I was expecting for the failed lifter. Service and communication were excellent throughout the day and as promised, I got my baby back after they were supposed to close, as Keith and family stayed late to make sure I got my car back as promised. So glad I found them, and definitely the place I will use going forward for our 4 cars.

Can't say it enough, but honesty to me is the most important trait in any service oriented business. Keih and family surpassed that for me. I would gladly recommend them if you are in need of a mechanic.

Car scientist is my new go-to place. I am so happy that I have found them! They treated me like family from day one. They won’t charge you for or “recommend” something that doesn’t need to be done. He was always upfront with me and they took their time looking at my car to figure out what it needed. The family that runs this place are the kindest, sweetest people. I will always trust them with my future vehicles. Happy to have them close to home.

Best place to get your car worked on. There honest and will not over charge you. I been to a few in the Katy area who try to fix problems that aren’t there and try to charge triple for simple fixes. Keith will make you feel like family and his master mechanical experience will save you headaches and money. I send all my friends and family to car scientist.

Car Scientist is Gold Cup of auto repair. They tell the truth about the problem and the repair, have incredible knowledge and understanding of car repair ( all years, makes and models). MOST IMPORTANTLY - “THEY TELL THE TRUTH”. Mr. Keith (owner) is incredibly smart, experienced and most importantly - HONEST!! His wife Mrs. Pat is an incredibly sweet, nice, honest and efficient Project Repair Coordinator.

I don’t trust anybody with my Corvette yet I stop by and talk to Keith about replacing my harmonic balance. He said he worked for Chevy for many years, so I quizzed him on some stuff (since I worked for Chevy for 3yrs in service) he knew everything. Such a great family owned business they care about their clients and treat them just like they’re their neighbor or their family.

I highly recommend these guys. They care to do a great job and don’t want to get a reputation like some of these other shops have.
