A bunch of co-workers suggested this place to me. I stopped by during my break and got the black raspberry. It certainly lived up to all of the hype! I chatted with a few other guests while I waited for my ice cream and found that Dariette keeps a rotating menu of seasonal flavors. I'm honestly excited to try all of them before the season is up!

Absolutely the best ice cream I've ever had, hands down! I feel cheated that I'm not from here and have not enjoyed their ice cream all my life. If you're in the area, you absolutely must make it a point to stop here!

Well all I can say is the same thing everyone else says! Everything you get here is amazing! The prices are super reasonable, and it tastes great! Staff is always kind, and even though the lines are often long, you speed through!

It’s all convenient that they have a drive through line, too!

Try any of their unique flavors like lemon or cotton candy if you want something new that is sure to be good!!

Yummy!!!! It's a Fort Dodge icon. Everything they make is delicious! It's always fun to drive by and see the long line of cars at the drive thru, but the real treat is walking up to the window and sitting on the patio to eat it. You'll always see friendly, smiling faces. People come from near and far to enjoy the unique offerings each week. Check their Facebook page to see what the special flavors of the week are. The malts are huge. Lots of flavors of ice cream,a must stop when in Fort Dodge.

I had friends recommending this place and I was still blown away! Very very big ice cream orders. I had a raspberry lemon swirl soft serve cone. It was the smoothest soft serve I have ever had! Great flavors!

When we were there it was busy. Line at the walk-up window & at the drive through. It was very quick to get our ice cream.

The best ice cream ever!!! Been going there since I was a young kid. Almost 30 years or so. Hands down still the best ice cream ever! The lemon, mint, black raspberry, yum! Every time I go home for a visit, it is a must-go-to!

This has got to be the best ice cream place in the Midwest. They have all sorts of really cool flavors of soft serve ice cream and they serve it in cups or cones and three scoops is about $3.95 so it’s cheap as hell. I love this place

My husband and I just moved to the area and we happened upon this place one weekend. SUPER IMPRESSED with their ice cream and the service. We now have to limit our trips to once a week (even though we sometimes go twice a week) so we don't overload on ice cream! Our favorite is the lemon soft serve with cherry hard dip. So good!

Best soft serv ice cream!

Excellent, excellent cramy smooth homemade soft serve ice cream. Very large portions and affordable price s. Large cones were almost a foot tall. Never seen such large ice cream portions any where else. Highly recommend the lemon ice cream do expect it to be delicious and stain your tongue yellow😋 Dariette only has outdoor seating and is closed during the Winter.

Fantastic local ice cream shop. The prices are low, the portions large, and the options extensive. The shop has several custom flavors as well as two flavors that rotate weekly. The shop also has several speciality items such has floats and malts. The best items are the "Whips" which are mixtures of ice cream and a topping such as cheesecake bites, candy pieces, or cookie dough. I highly recommend first time visitors visitors get a whip composed of their favorite flavor of ice cream and candy topping.

Highly recommend getting a waffle cone but beware of the sizes. They are monstrous!

Heard about this place through a friend and now I'm a regular customer ! The malts are amazing, great prices, huge portions! I love the chocolate strawberry malt, the cake batter malt, the lemon ice cream is to die for, and if you catch them in the fall you have to try the pumkin ice cream it's like a pumkin pie in your mouth! Great people and amazing customer service!

This place has a huge variety of ice cream. And so delicious too. Wish they were open year round. Never understood why ice cream shops close just cause it's cold? My taste buds don't stop liking ice cream during the winter.

Great place to take out your Grandma and impress your dad for Father’s day. Wonderful pricing and an overall positive vibe. Careful you could practically fit a gallon of ice cream in the large sized cup! Enjoy!
