I’m a man, and I’ve lived with my naturally wavy hair all my life and now that I’m in my fifties and “greying out”, this old man hair looks awful. I went to the Modern Stylist in Katy, drove all the way from Downtown Houston, to see what we could do with this mop. Well, I was talked into getting a blowout by Adria, and my hair was transformed!!! I wish I would have known about this treatment years and years ago! I can’t wait to show off my hair and do this treatment again! I now love my greying hair and never felt better and I felt soooo pampered at the Modern Stylists! All the girls there are so easy to talk to and work with - what an awesome team!!! I’m looking forward to keeping this look going strong into my golden years!

I have to add, I got to witness the 2024 eclipse in totality, as it entered the Lower 48, and the experience was spectacular! But Adria’s blowout surpassed the eclipse because I’m still in awe of my new style!!!! Thank You!!!

Alyssa was everything I needed and more! She was great - not only coloring and cutting my hair the best way for its current condition, making it look amazing but also recommending the right products and supplements to help strengthen my hair. This is my new favorite hair salon! I dropped in on the salon to get a consultation regarding extensions. I have extensions now from another salon. I was not happy with the quality of the extensions. The owner & Brianna offered to shampoo and condition and blow dry my hair in attempts to improve the softness of my extensions. They willingly did all of this without an appointment and I am so grateful. The extensions they use are like silk! When i need new extensions, I will be getting them from this salon! The salon is very clean! Very highly recommend making your next hair appointment with The Modern Stylists!!
